Chapter 6 Mumther's shocking day

Mom's P. O.V

"Come back here young lady! I'm not done with you!" I yell at her. I see her put in the code, then she flips me off. I sharply sigh and I pull out of the driveway.

"I cannot believe her! What has gotten into her today!?" I ask myself. Maybe some soothing tunes will help me. In put in the AUX cord and play the most calm song out there. (Make sure to do full volume because it's super quiet.)

I feel so much better! I'm humming to the music I get a phone call. I groan in annoyance and I plug out the AUX cord and answer the phone "Hello? This is a phone you're calling, Meagan Trannor speaking" "That isn't gonna work Meg" I know that voice anywere!

"Oh! Hey Ellie! Is Eliza going to be okay?" I ask. "Oh, she's going to be fine. But she has to stay in the hospital for 3 more weeks" I hear Ellie, Eliza's mom state in a worried tone. "Oh no I'm so sorry! I hear the food is disgusting!" I comment, Alex has been in the hospital once or twice. "Yes it's very sad. I wonder what happened! They use to be good friends, but now they're enemies!" I hear a beep sound, she must be getting inside her car. Or out idk.

"I guess our daughters can't have the same friendship we use to have..." She says sadly. Its true, we've been friend ever since we were 5. But Emerald and Eliza are obviously way different, Emerald is Emerald, she isn't even my real child though..... ;-;

"Aw, call from work, I'll talk to you later Megan." Ellie says sounding very sad. "Oh its okay, I'm heading to work also." We both say our final goodbyes and hang up. And just in time because I pull up at my job. "Hey Meg! So, what happened?" Drake, my best friend asks, he was my very first friend here. And he changed a lot since then. He use to have black hair but now it's a light brown. And he has those light beards that you can see but its like, not a full beard.

"Just another one of my children..." "Which one? You have four." "Emerald! She beat a kid half to death!" "Ohhhhhh! She was always my favorite, still is!" He says with sparkles all around him. Has he become more shiny!? "Well, how's the kid she beat up? Who was it!?" He says returning back to normal. "Her old friend Eliza! I'm surprised Ellie didn't sue us!" I say putting my hands on my face.

"Meg, listen to me." I hear him say and I uncover my face. Not even a second after he cups my face with his hands and pulls my face to his. "What?" I was able to say, he's heavy handed, oh wait, he's about to say something. "Emerald meant no harm! She just isn't herself! Next thing you know she might have roommates in a house having crazy adventures! Spoiler." He says the last part while looking at what he thinks is a 'camera' at the 'audience'. I look at the same direction then back at him. So, you gonna let me go? "Oh yeah sure thing!" He lets me go and a look at the 4th wall

"So, is the wall almost done?" "It should be, yeah" "Then why did I even come back to work!?" Drake shrugs his shoulders then looks back at the wall. "And your shift is almost over-" I cover his mouth with my hand and I glare at him. "Not another word from you..."

I open the door to see Alex talking to some guy on my couch, I slowly walk up behind them while taking out a pan. "SO!" They both jump in surprise and the quickly turn. "Are you in a relationship with my son?" "Mom!" I see him blushing a little. MAH SWEET BOY! "No ma'am, I'm just a new friend of his-" "Please call me mom- I mean Meg!" "Nice save mom" Alex says glaring at me. "Mom, we're out of cookies!" Ink comes in eating a box of cookies while looking at the three of them. "I see you've met Andre."

"So you tell your sister before your own mom!? I shocked!" I say making a dramatic pose as always. "Mom I swear-" Emerald walks down the stairs and into the kitchen, rude. "Well hello to you too Emerald!" I yell crossing my arms. "Oh, hey person I don't care about" Uhhhhm, ouch!

"Young lady you don't talk to your mother that way!" I yell as she walks back into the living room. "Okay, but I can talk to you that way, you aren't even my real mom!" The room gets quiet, that is the worst thing to say to a parent. "I'm going out for a little." She closes the door and the room is still silent. "What... Just happened" Andre says with his shocked face. "I don't know...." Alex and Ink say in unison, while I'm still silent, and in shock. I can't believe her.....

"Hey Alex, should I..." "Yeah Andre, I'll see you at school" We watch Andre get up to put on his shoes, grab his bag, and leave. "Where do you think Em is going?" Me and Alex looked at her. "We don't know, but it might be something that might get her killed.." "Mom don't worry, she'll be back. But we won't know unless we have someone that's sneaky enough to spy on her." As Alex finished his sentence, Kate opens the door. "Hey guys, I saw some guy come out the house and...." We all stared at her. "What's with that face....?" She asks with the look of confusion.
"Sooo... How do you feel about spying?" Alex asks holding his head with his hand, right after that question, Kate gives a sly smirk. "Just give me the info and I'll do it"
