Alex gets sick?

3rd person pov

Emerald walked inside the house with a mask on, she took it off and threw it on the floor "THIS DAMN VIRUS HAS ME DONE" "LANGUAGE EM!" Meg yelled out from the kitchen, she was cooking lunch for the kids. "Where have you been?" Ink walked down the stairs once she heard yelling, she's usually in her room all day. "I was trying to get some frozen yogurt but guess what? Surprise! IT'S ALL CLOSED!" She slammed the front door closed making Ink flinch. "NOW I KNOW Y'ALL AIN'T YELLING WHILE I'M IN A ZOOM! SHUT YO ASSES UP!" Ink and Em looked up the stairs after Kate was done yelling, yeesh what's her problem...

"Anyways I went to the corner store and got me some snacks which my fat ass is gonna eat by myself and watch My Engineer as I sob" She walked to the steps but was stopped by Ink. "Let me come with.. I have drama recommendations.." Emerald looked at her with doubt but agreed. "Okay.. You got your own snacks?" Ink nodded in response "Alright let's go then!" Ink and Em ran up the stairs and watched dramas.

Hours Later

Meg was watching her show minding her own business, but as always, her fun was interrupted by something, it was the door opening. Meg paused her show and got up, she walked over to the door and saw Alex who just came back from his friend's house. "Hey Alex! How was it?" "It went well.." He seemed a bit out of breath and his voice was raspy. "You sound sick, are you okay?" She put her hand on his forehead and his forehead was burining hot. "Do you have a fever? I know I shouldn't have let you go over there!" Meg seemed worried and furious, which isn't rare but this is an actual problem.. "What? No mom I'm okay! We were running all day so I'm a little tired, and it's hot outside today!" He said reassuringly, though he was telling the truth, all they were doing was running and playing.

"Okay I believe you, but I'm going to the store to get medicine and stuff, hopefully some damn toilet paper instead of using napkins!" Alex chuckled as she put on her shoes and grabbed her purse. "Drink some water, okay?" With that she quickly left the house. Emerald and Ink walked downstairs with a tissues box in their hands. "Whyyy!? WHY DID HE BREAK UP WITH HIMM!?" Emerald cried "IT ISN'T FAIR MIND IS A RELATIONSHIP DESTROYER!" Ink cried back. "Uhh, guys?" Ink and Em looked up at Alex. "What are you guys crying about?" They were about to respond till Alex let out a dry cough.. Huh, he coughed... COUGHED!? Emerald and Ink ran upstairs and put on their gloves and gas masks, grabbed the biggest spray bottle they had and put on protective suits, once they changed they bolted downstairs and tackled Alex. "WHAT THE FU- WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING!?" "SHUT UP ALEX! IT'S FOR THE BEST!" They started spraying his face which made him cough even more. "It isn't working!" Ink yelled, it was needed since the masks muffled their voices. "Then we'll keep him in the bubble." "The what!?" Alex was beyond confused, first they come downstairs crying and now they're spraying him with god knows what!

The two girls lifted him uo and threw him in the protective bubble, they closed it and let out a sigh of relief. Though Alex wasn't happy, not one bit, he started pounding on the bubble furiously. "LET ME OUT! THIS ISN'T FUNNY! I NEED TO TAKE A DUMP!" "Sorry Alex, we'll miss you.." Ink said all sad like, they all had a moment of silence before Em started to speak. "Wanna watch more Thai dramas?" "Yes!" They grabbed their tissue boxes and ran upstairs, Alex on the other hand was left alone in a weird bubble thing. After a few minutes of suffering, Kate finally came downstairs for a snack. "Kate! Thank God someone sane is here! I need you to get me outta here!" In the middle of Alex's sentence, Kate turned around and stared at him till he was done talking. "Alex, what are you doing in there?" She walked over to the bubble and poked it. "KATE NO! HE'S SICK!" Emerald yelled from the top of the stairs."Sick? Then why is he in here?" "He may have the you know what!" "For fucks sakes I don't! I was running all day!" Alex yelled in frustration, just then he coughed once more, he then looked back up to see Kate in the same gear as Ink and Em. "You have got to be kidding me.." He sighed then slid on the floor and sat there, he has to use the bathroom badlyyy.

An Hour Later

Meg unlocked the door and opened it, she set down the grocery bags then looked at Alex who was still trapped in the bubble. "Alex?" Once he heard that blessed voice he quickly sat up. "Mom? MOM! GET ME OUT!" He yelled desperately for help. "Who put you in here? Why are you even in there?" She walked over to the bubble and her wrist was grabbed by Em. "Mom no! Alex is sick!" "Huh? Sick?" "Yes mom! Stay away!" Kate was holding up a bottle of Lysol. "You too Kate? I thought you would be the last person to believe this nonsence!" Meg shook her head and sighed. "He isn't sick he's just tired from running." She poked the protective bubble and it quickly deflated. "OUTTA THE WAY!" Alex got up and pushed passed them to get to the bathroom, they heard a door slam and lock. Megan looked at the three girls, "You three owe Alex an apology" and bopped their heads. "OW!" The three said in unison, Megan then walked to her room and the others were glad they didn't get grounded or beat up by Alex or their mom, they returned to their rooms and called it a day.

"HEYYY! CAN SOMEONE GET ME SOME NAPKINS?! WE RAN OUT!"
