A few weeks has passed and it was almost time for college already. Man, time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it? But today is moving day! I'm so excited right now. Today is finally the day Jason and I are going to move in our apartment. We got our moving truck and we packed our stuff.
Today is going to be an emotional day, though. I won't be bothering Sophia anymore as I used to. I won't be bothering Stephanie anymore but she can bother Sophia now. Poor Sophia. Stephanie is now 16 weeks pregnant and the baby is the size of a avocado. It's getting big now. But she still has a while to go.
I'm just so excited to start this new chapter in my life. Moving in with Jason at 18 years old, it's beyond crazy. I got transferred over to another restaurant by our house so it's not that far of a drive to work. Jason got a new job in an office. He's going to be an assistant at this office but it's a huge company so he's already getting paid a lot.
Jason packed some of his furniture from his room. He even packed his bed. I think because we both love his bed, that he'll bring it. Sophia is obviously having mine in her room. I'm just nervous to like pack my stuff from my room because it's going to be different once I leave.
As we were packing up the last few things, Mom was crying. I know she would miss me in the house. I suggested that she should move to Tallahassee with us but she said she'll think about it. You would think that Stephanie would move out first but nope. She's wasting her gas driving back and forth to school. Dumbass.
12:23 p.m.
Jason was here helping me pack and helped pack the truck. Then my side of the room was empty. Sophia has more space now in this room. But I've had a lot of memories in this room, especially with Sophia. I'll have more in the new apartment.
"I can't believe I'm leaving this place," I said to everyone.
"Well, it was good while it lasted," Stephanie joked.
"Well Stephanie, you'll be feeling lonely, really soon," I joked.
"Oh please."
We both raised our eyebrows.
Then I watched Mom crying behind Stephanie. "Mom, come on."
"You're leaving," she cried.
"I'll visit often. I'm not moving across the country, you know," I said while laughing.
"I know."
Then Sophia came crying as she walked in the living room.
"Why are y'all so emotional today?" I asked.
"Because I'm stuck with Stephanie by myself, now," she answered.
"Ohh, you right. I'm so sorry."
I walked up to her and hugged her tightly. #sisterbond.
"If you ever need me, I'll only a FaceTime call away and I'll answer," I told as I was wiping her tears away. "Like Ariana Grande said, ain't got no tears left to cry."
We both laughed. We love that song so much.
"You right," Sophia said.
I took one step outside the door. "I'm guessing I'll give you my key, Mom."
"Keep it. This is your house, too," she said.
We all hugged and had this family goodbye.
"This isn't goodbye, peeps. Stop crying," I joked.
Everyone let go and I ran to my car and said goodbye. "I'll text you guys when I get there."
They all waved as we got ready to leave. Jason's car was already at the apartment so I had to drive mine there now. The trip was going to take about 3 hours or so but the turnpike would take us within 2 hours. I was like nervous because I haven't driven that far by myself but I was always behind Jason.
