The next morning..

I got up to Stephanie throwing up in the bathroom. I gotta get used to this now. Great.

I walked up to the door. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," she said as she was washing her hands.

7:17 a.m.

"Hey Christina, come here for a second," Mom said.

I walked up to her and she put her arm around. "I have something for you."

I got confused and gave her a weird look. "What?"

"Come with me and close your eyes."

And so I did and we walked outside.

"Open them," Mom said.

I opened my eyes and there was a car with a bow on it. The exact one I wanted, too. I finally got a car to drive. I've been asking for one for the longest now. I'm always depending on Mom to drop me off to school.

"This is mine?" I asked.

"Yes, indeed. You're working really hard this year and I know how much you wanted a car. So here are your keys."

She hands me the keys to the car and I started jumping up and down like a monkey. It was beautiful in person. And it's all mine. Finally. It was a 2014 Nissan Murano. Yeah, I know it's not brand new but still, I don't care. I texted Jason and told him the news. Ahhh.

I rode Sophia and I to school with a freaking smile on my face. It was crazy. Then I saw him sitting on the hood of his car with a look on his like jealousy. But I got out and ran to him and jumped like a damn kangaroo.

"Soo, someone got a car today," he says.

"Yeah."

"You know, I told your mom that that's the car you wanted."

What?

"Aww, really?"

"Yes, I know my baby girl well."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome," he said while smiling.

What a nice morning it is.

In class, everything was going great until I saw Michael staring at me from across the room with a sad face. Luckily Jason wasn't there with us. I didn't want another fight to happen. Jason's football game is tomorrow and I'm not trying to get him suspended or anything.

Later on.

Class ended and I walked outside while Michael was walking behind me. "Christina!"

Oh geez.

I turned around and saw him walking towards me. "What?"

"I wanted to say hi," he answered.

"Well hi," I said while walking away.

"How's Jason?"

I turned around again. "He's good, Michael."

"Look, I know you don't feel like talking to me but let me just explain."

"Oh please do, Michael."

"I still love you, Christina."

"If you did, you never, ever would've done what you did last year and you freaking broke my heart and now you expect sympathy from me? It doesn't work like that, Michael. I'm with Jason now and I love him. He treats me like a queen and he'll never hurt me like you did. So do me a favor, don't come to me with that bullcrap saying you still love me. I'm just tired of this," I snapped.
