'Some people spend their whole lives looking for an adventure but never find any. Others just stumble across one. I didn't want to go on any adventures. I'm perfectly fine here in New York... Or so I thought.'

A heavy blizzard rages across the Himalayan landscape. a figure emerges from the blizzard. It is a young 25 year old girl.

"Hello?" she called out, "Is anyone there?"

'They say if you get separated from your group while ascending Everest that you'll die on Everest.'

The girl has climbing gear on, there's snow on her. She looks very scared.

"Can anybody hear me?" she called out again, but this time there's worry and fear in her face as well as on her face.

'I didn't choose to get lost on Everest. A blizzard caused the helicopter that I was in to crash. The blizzard came out of nowhere. The pilot died on impact. I don't know where the others are. We were all thrown out in the crash. I was lucky to have survived.

The girl continues to walk on, through the blizzard, until she finds a cave. She enters the cave. It is a big rocky cave.

"This'll do." she said quietly while shivering.
"It looks like someone has been here." she said.

There is old mountain gear lying around what looks like a camp.

"It looks abandoned. And judging by all this stuff, recently."
"What's this?"

There's a large bag lying on the ground, in the middle of the cave. She opens it. There's firewood inside as well as stuff to light it with. She sets up some wood and lights it. The wood lights nicely and soon a lovely, warming fire is born.

She moves closer so that the fire warms her. She puts her hands in front of the fire to warm up.

"What the fuck did I do to deserve this?"
She puts her hands over her mouth and exhales and then proceeds to rub them together and puts them back by the fire.

'To date nearly 300 people have died on Everest, and I don't wanna be another statistic on that list...'
