4.Chapter 4

   I wasn't surprised that we had to hold a preliminary rounds before the finals.There were 28 candidates left and usually there's only 10 max.

  Should I go on?Should I quit?No I cant do that what would Sasuke think?What would Gaara think?That I'm some quitter.A weakling.I wasn't having that.I hope I don't have to fight any of the rookies.Or the sand siblings.Actually I don't wanna fight any of these people, but I have to.I can win I know it.

  Our proctor Hayate explained about the preliminary's and asked if any of us would like to quit.I looked at the other end of the crowd at Sasuke.He had his hand over his neck,clutching it and Sakura had a worried look on her face.I couldn't hear them but I wanted to know what happened to him.Why she was so worried about him.Even if it was because she loved him he is an Uchiha, he can handle himself.

  Apparently Kabuto was out again for the seventh time.How does he think he can quit every time and make it to chunin?At this rate he'll be a genin his whole life.There has to be a reason why.I don't think I wanna find out what it is.Two grass ninja from the same team were out.I peeked next to me.Both Tokito and Daichi had their heads down and one hand up in the air.I can't believe it.Tokito I knew would quit at some point but Daichi.He was more pumped for the chunin exams then Naruto.

  "I'm sorry Gina."They both said in unison and walked out with heads hung low.Wow.They're actually leaving.Now there's 22 left.Eleven matches.Let's hope I get the grass ninja.

  The proctor introduced the exam, opened a panel where the names will show and began randomizing the names.Then it stopped.Sasuke vs Yoroi.

  I walked over to him on my way to the upper level.We hugged but I gripped him tightly."Good luck duck butt."I murmured."I love you."

  "I love you too."He whispered.I let go and slowly walked up every step.I stopped about halfway.

  "Oh and Sasuke..."He turned to me."Don't loose."I watched him intently while I walked up the rest of the stairs.I didn't change my facial expression until I saw his upper lip curl slightly.A small smirk appeared on my lips.

  Sasuke's got this.I thought and the match began.He wasn't off to a good start.Yoroi was trying to take every ounce of chakra he had.I gripped the railing watching his face distort in pain.But by the end of the match Sasuke used taijutsu moves.Naruto had said he stole them from Lee when they fought before the exams.

  "Lion's barrage!"He yelled finishing Yoroi off.

  "As the winner of this round Sasuke Uchiha advances to the final rounds."Hayate said.Kakashi and I were down by Sasuke in the blink of an eye.He was panting but he didn't need any medical assistance.Naruto started making a weird sound that could've been mistaken for a dying hyena.Both Sasuke and I looked at him like he was crazy.

  "Hey Sasuke!You won but in such an uncool way!You came out looking like you're the one who got beat up!Hahahaha!"

  "Baka."He muttered under his breath."Gina."I looked at him knowing exactly what he was going to say."Don't die."

  I smiled.Our inside joke.

  As Kakashi left with Sasuke I headed back up the stairs to the upper level.Everyone turned their heads to the panel as it began flipping through names.Then,it stopped.I froze.

  Gina Uchiha vs Youku.

  "Wow they sure want to see the Uchiha's don't they!"Sakura said cheery and smiled at me.I returned her smile and took my sweet time getting to the ground level.

  "Your way out of your league kid.I don't care if you are one of the last Uchiha!You will die here!"Youku shouted.I kept quiet.I don't usually flaunt my own power.I'd much rather surprise everyone at the end.Everyone thinks Sasuke is the strong one.He's the one who will surpass Itachi.I always live in his shadow.But now it's my time to shine.I just wish he was here,to see how ruthless his sweet sister can be.

  "Begin."

  He wasted no time.Instantly he threw his umbrella up in the air."Ninja Art:Senbon shower!"

  Thousands of needles were rocketing at me.I melted into the ground,using a jutsu I copied and activated my sharingan.He seemed like a long range fighter,just like me.Contrary to me he uses small justu that don't use much chakra.He'd prefer poison over monster techniques.I popped up and transported to the top of the giant hands forming a sign by the panel.I made four different hand signs.

  Horse.Dog.Dragon.Sheep

  "Ninja Art:Lightning Fire Hurricane!"I raised my hands up to the sky and a huge gray whirlwind of clouds formed out of mid air.It was spinning rapidly until the eye was right over Youku.Lighting stroke the ground next to him and he was sucked up into the huge monsoon in the sky.Loud rumbles sounds and big flashes of light were coming out of the cloud.Youku had no chance of escaping as the lighting,fire,water and wind tumbled around over like clothes in the dryer,only deadlier.The giant cloud began decreasing in size until it was gone and Youku's lifeless body was spit out onto the ground.

  "Is he dead?"Shikamaru questioned.

  "And the winner is Gina Uchiha."I flashed the Uchiha signature smirk.

  "Jeez and all this time we were all thinking Sasuke was the strong one!"Naruto said giggly from excitement.I jumped down to the upper level and stood between Sakura and Naruto.I hunched over,folding my arms over the railing.

  I snuck a peek at Gaara.His eyes were the same.Showing no emotion.He must've felt my eyes on him because his sea colored orbs landed on me.He kept his gaze for a while.I thought I saw them flicker with impressment.Before I tore my eyes away,his expression stained with blood lust.

  I felt tired.

  I need a break.I should stop by the hot springs tonight.I thought.Maybe the other girl would to as well.The next match was Shino vs Zaku from the sound.

  "Hey Sakura."I whispered.

  "Hm."

  "I was thinking about stopping by the hot springs when this is over.Wanna come?"She merely nodded."I thought of inviting Ino,Tenten,Hinata and Temari as well."Maybe she wouldn't want to come if Ino was but they had be getting along a little in the house.

  "Yeah that'd be great."She said and smiled at me.
