"The portals are normally invisible and completely impossible to pass through. They are located in the weirdest of places, and they are almost always unreachable. However, five years ago, the Machting discovered a way to compress portals. Despite this new tech, they couldn't find a portal. Until a couple of weeks ago. They found a portal and compressed it. I stole it, and accidentally opened it trying to destroy it. I was trying to thwart their plan, but I might've moved it forward." said Winston, sighing.
"So what exactly is their plan?" asked Earth Alex.
"The Machting already have complete domination of Darklia. What if they could move to other universes? They already have more advance tech than countless planets. That portal you passed though, the one I opened, is the one thing they need to dominate the entire multiverse."
