Alex looked up slowly from his "newspaper" and watched the location where a portal should have been. He had thrown rocks and leaves, so he new the portal was here, on this path. Several civilians had almost walked into the portal but the other Alex (Earth) had shoved them out of the way, coming up with some sort of excuse. The people would leave flustered and confused, but normally not ask questions. He would've taken the portal already, but a Machting Guard stood about twenty feet away. However, Alex knew what to do.

"Daniel. Take out the camera." he whispered. Daniel, who was concealed in a moving van parked nearby, activated a camera bypass.

"Winston. Thomas. Go." he said. Winston and Thomas moved swiftly from the moving van and quickly disabled the guard.

"Do you have the container?" asked Winston after they dragged the guard away.

"Yep." said Alex as he pulled the snow globe-like device from his pocket. With a touch to the portal, the snow globe was suddenly filled with a blue, icy aura.

"We got it Nick. Come pick us up." said Winston.

A grappling hook descended from the sky and hooked unto the moving man. Winston, Thomas, and the two Alex's hopped  into the van as it lifted off the ground.

And the man at the camera never saw a thing.
