Lost in the unknown with you

All hallows eve

'Today was the day' Alethea thought while straitening her sleeveless blood red dress. Halloween was one of Alethea's favorite holidays. She eyes the cabinet in her bathroom ,reaching in to grab her vampire fangs she got from the halloween store down the street from her house.

Aberdale Arizona was a small town for sure,you could get anywhere by foot. Alethea fiddles with the packaging before opening the container and glueing the fangs onto her shiny teeth being careful of the pieces of metal in her mouth that tortured her days and nights.

Alethea checked her phone 6:45. Alethea was supposed to meet her best friend Wirt at the football field for the game at 7:00. Alethea quickly applied some fake blood around her mouth and some on her neck and she was ready. 'Into the unknown' she thought.

Alethea bid farewell to her younger brother who said 'trick or treating is for babies' when his mom asked him what he wanted to be even though he was just about 10 years old.

"Bye mom I'm going to hangout with wirt and watch the football game!" Alethea hollered. "I know you already told me stay safe and be careful hun." Her mother yelled from upstairs.

Alethea joyfully opened the front door and closed it behind her. Alethea jumped down the patio steps and starts running to the football game in fear that she is late.

Alethea POV.
Crap crap crap crap crap. I took that long looking in the mirror and I still have Sarah's party to go to. I try to run as fast as I can with flats but it's pretty troublesome. Finally I run into Greg talking to mrs. Daniels.

"Thank you old lady Daniels" Gregory chirps. Good bye Gregory and please don't call me old lady!" Mrs. Daniels asks. "Yes sir,young man." Greg salutes. I giggle at his child like behavior.

"Hey Greg do you know where your brother is?" I ask. Greg looks up to me and screams "your so spooky!!". "Greg it's me Alethea" I sigh. "oh my gosh you're a vampire" Greg exclaims. "Greg its all hallows eve only tonight I'm a vampire" I smile.

"Magical,also Alethea the vampire queen wirts over here" Greg says pointing over to the chain link fence wirt is leaning on. I walk up to him and lie on the fence. "Sup worry wirt" I beamed.

"Nothing" wirt sighs. "I was helping old lady Daniels rake some leaves in exchange for candy" Greg bubbles. "Greg it's Halloween candy is free" wirt  acknowledged. I never understood why Wirt hated his brother but then again I didn't really like mine much either.

" old lady Daniels says nothing in this world is free. Oh,hey,and look! I also got this rock. Hey,Wirt,want to learn some rock facts. So,do you want to go look for frogs with me like you said you would a while ago but haven't done yet?" Greg finally finishes "nah nah I'm busy" wirt sighs looking at Sarah.

I have to admit I always had a crush on wirt and most people think its obvious and ship us together even Sarah but when wirt told me about his massive crush on Sarah I promised myself to let him be happy if she likes him back.

"Is that bee named Sarah?" Greg asks. "W-what?" Wirt asks slightly startled."your tape says for Sara are you going to give it to Sarah the bee?" Greg questions. "I-I want to but I can't." Wirt sighs. "Oh cmon you've been procrastinating on this for like a million years can't you just do it?" I encourage

"Can I see it?" Greg asks. "Yeah it's just a tape" wirt gives the tape to Greg and Greg inspects it. "It kinda looks like the one he made for the vampire queen" Greg murmurs. "Huh what did you say Greg" I asked since I thought he said something.

"Hmm. Yeah. Okay I'll give it to her for you." Greg says and starts running over to Sarah. "Oh greg! W-wait! No,no!" Wirt worries. Greg runs right into the preppy girls. oh crap I forgot her name Katie Kathleen something like that started talking to Greg.
