Callie's POV

The party was already in full swing and it just started. I could tell some people were already drunk. 'I really need to find my friends' I thought to myself. After a while of searching I finally saw my friend Kylie's long brown hair.

"Hey" I said walking into the circle her and a couple other people formed.

"Oh my goodness, hey where have you been I haven't seen you since we got off the bus" Kylie said

"Oh you wouldn't even guess" I said as everyone in the group turned all attention to me.

"What happened" asked Dawn the girl who has rooming with my friend Aspen.

"So you remember back in 9th grade how I had a crush on Nolan" I started as they all nodded, taken back to then "and how I had to room with a random person" again they nodded "well I'm rooming with Nolan and here's the cherry on the cake there's only one bed" I said finishing my rant.

"That is both the worst thing ever and the funniest thing ever" said Jamie.

Our conversation continued on as did the party. It wasn't exactly what I thought it'd be. I figured there would be loud music with tons of people dancing but no the music was slow and calm. I really started to get bored. I felt my phone vibrate in my hand. I looked at it seeing Daniel texted me saying that him and Meghan had decided to stay in. I groaned in frustration wishing that I had kept my key so I could leave when I wanted without Nolan.

I looked around but I didn't see him. Hoping he'd be in the room I said my goodbyes to my friends and left the pool area. The elevator doors opened as soon as I pushed the button. Once the doors had closed I took off my shoes regretting wearing wedges.

Once I was in front of the room I took in a deep breath and knocked on the door begging for him to be in there. Thankfully I heard someone walking to the door. Soon after Nolan stood in the door way with his gorgeous smile plastered on his face which I returned.

Nolan's POV

The party wasn't what I expected so I came back up to the room. Before I left I looked for Callie but she was laughing and having a good time with her friends so I just left her alone. So here I am alone in a hotel room trying to figure out what I'm thinking or even feeling. Callie is beautiful in every single way I can't ignore that but do I like her as more than a friend I don't know. My thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on the door which I knew was Callie. When I opened the door and saw her standing there looking like an angel I couldn't help but smile which she returned thankfully.

"What?" She asked

"Nothing" I said as she walked into the room setting her shoes down that she'd been carrying.

"I don't believe you"

"Just that you look gorgeous, I meant to tell you before the party but I didn't have the nerve to" I said honestly

"Thanks" she said obviously trying to hide her blush by looking down.

"I'm gonna go change" she said grabbing her pajamas.

"Okay" I said

I decided to change into my pajamas while she was in there. I threw on some gray sweats and a blue Nike shirt. I decided to just take a shower in the morning cause I wanted to spend as much of tonight with Callie for some reason.

Callie's POV

I changed into a pair of tie dye shorts and a black shirt with the words 'I'm not a morning person' written across the front. I put my hair into a bun and took off all my makeup before taking my contacts out to put my glasses on. For some reason I felt nervous of what Nolan was gonna think when I walked out. I sucked it up finally and walked out to see him lying on the bed. I crawl in bed beside him trying to ignore the awkwardness I was feeling.

"I'll take the couch" he said getting off the bed

"No there's enough room in bed for the both of us" I said as he gave me a shocked look "unless you wanna be uncomfortable"

"No I just don't want you feeling weird sharing a bed with me"

"It's fine"

"Whatever you say" he said getting back in bed

"Goodnight Nolan"

"Goodnight Callie" he said "oh and thank you"

"For what"

"For still being you" he said

Wait what did he mean by that? Did he like me back in 9th grade? Now I have so many things going through my head. God I knew rooming with him would make everything worse. Finally I fell asleep to the sound of Nolan's light breathing.
