Chapter 7

Nolan's POV

Callie wanted to go by the gift shop to get a pair of Minnie ears. She tried on a pair with a pink pocka-dot bow in front.

"What do you think?" She asked

"They're cute"

She ended up buying the pink ones. Thankfully because I thought they looked the cutest on her. I had offered to pay but she wouldn't let me.

Once we left the gift shop I could see the excitement in Callie's eyes.

"You ready" I asked grabbing her hand "Which one first?"

"You choose" she said smiling up at me.

"How about Splash Mountain"

"Okay, sounds good"

I really liked holding hands with Callie. Her hand just fit so perfectly in mine like it was meant to be. Once we got to Splash Mountain I saw my friends up ahead of us and waved at them.

"If you wanna go with your friends it's okay I'm fine by myself" Callie said

"No I don't want to be with them I want to be here with you"

"Promise" she said.

"Promise" I said hugging her.

I don't know why but this girl has made me feel so different. And we've only been here for a day if this is happening now and it's the 2nd day what about the rest of the time we have here.
We went on a couple rides already and we were trying to find another one. Callie had a huge smile on her face the entire time and it was adorable.

"How about we go on Tower of Terror?" I asked

"No Nolan please I don't want to"

"Yes please I'll be there right beside you the entire time" I said stepping in front of her to stop her from walking away.

"I just don't know" she said looking in my eyes.

"Please" I said poking my bottom lip out.

"Argh fine" she said smiling again.

"Yay you'll be okay I promise" I said throwing my arm around her to pull her close to me.

When we got in line for the ride Callie started to get a really worried look on her face.

"Babe, are you okay?" I asked without thinking about the words coming out of my mouth.

"What so I'm your babe now?" She asked with a smirk on her face.

"Oh shut up I was just trying to make you feel better" I said trying to drop the topic.

"Oh, okay" she said looking down really upset.

We were in line for a good 30 minutes before it was our turn. The wait had been really awkward since our talk about me calling her babe. She stayed quiet and avoided eye contact with me the whole time. Once we were next in line for the ride I decided it was time to handle the whole thing.

"Callie are you okay?" I asked thinking about my words first.

"Yeah I'm fine"

"No you're not, what did I do?"

"It's nothing I promise"

"If it was nothing you wouldn't be acting like this"

"Just drop it okay"

"No we're talking about this later"

"Whatever" she said turning away.

I knew I would fuck this up, I do with everything. I was really feeling this girl then I had to go and say something stupid.

Callie's POV

After Nolan said what he said all I wanted to do was get away from him. But no I'm stuck in line with him about to experience the tower of terror something I never wanted to do.

We were next and I would rather be doing anything but this right now.

"Do you still want to go on?" He asked bringing me back to reality.

"I didn't want to in the first place" I snapped at him a little harsher than I had intended.

My outburst sent him into silence, which was broken by the lady opening the gate allowing us through. Once we got in I sat down first and Noah sat down right beside me.

"Listen. Regardless of the fact that you're mad at me right now I'm sorry for making you come on this ride I just wanted to be with you. And I said I would protect you on this thing so that's what I'm going to do whether you like it or not." Nolan said.

I honestly couldn't believe he said that all I could do was look at him and give him a grateful look because deep down I was freaking out about this stupid ride.

The ride started and I was immediately clinging to Nolan as if he was my only chance of surviving this thing. For a second I peaked up at him only to see a huge smile spread across his face. I lightly hit him, causing him to look down at me and mutter laughter.

The ride was over and Noah insisted we go look at the picture. I really didn't want to cause I knew it was gonna either involve me screaming or me cuddled into Nolan.

In the little booth with the pictures sure enough there it was with me cuddled into Nolan as he smiled his beautiful smile. I quickly left not wanting to see the thing anymore.

"Hey, why'd you leave?" Nolan asked walking out.

"Did you not see that picture? It was completely awful."

"No it wasn't. Look if it was so awful why would I of bought a copy of it"

"Ew why on earth would you do that" I exclaimed

"Because you look adorable in it"
That comment sent me blushing like crazy.

"Callie, look at me" Nolan said stepping in front of me. Once we met eyes he began again. "Back there in line I didn't mean to be so harsh I was embarrassed by the fact that I called you babe on accident. And I'm really really sorry. Can you forgive me?"

After a long pause I finally answered "yeah" causing him to break into a huge smile.

"Come here" he said pulling me into him for a long hug.
