"Can I take this thing off now?" Kirstie giggled, sitting on the couch of her and Avi's apartment. Five minutes earlier, he sloppily tied a blindfold around her head so she couldn't see his 'special surprise.' She heard him come back and was actually getting excited.

Avi had been planning this for awhile now. It was their first anniversary together and he knew that this gift was just perfect. When Scott and Mitch found out what it was, after being sworn to secrecy, they just about passed out from excitement.

"That will definitely make her entire life!" Mitch said, being his usual dramatic self. Avi smiled and hugged them after they wished him luck with the surprise.

"And don't tell anyone, I want to make sure that she doesn't expect it at all." Avi whispered, even though they were alone.

"Yeah, yeah, you can trust us!" Scott brushed off the warning. They knew how much it meant to him, they wouldn't ruin it. At least not on purpose.

Keeping the secret was one of the hardest things to do. They had to keep their mouths shut for two weeks. Avi didn't tell anyone besides them, not even Kevin or Esther. He only told Mitch and Scott because he needed to make sure Kirstie would like it.

They almost let it slip once within those fourteen days, which was record-breaking for them. They usually spilled the beans at least once or twice before any big reveal.

They were on the tour bus, slowly driving through some city in Florida. Kirstie, Mitch, and Scott were playing cards by one of the windows. When the bus stopped at a stoplight, Kirstie spotted the cutest little dog being walked by the sidewalk.

"Aw, look at that little guy! He's so cute!" she fawned over the beagle who sauntered around with it's owner right behind it.

"Psh, you think that's cute, wait until you see the dog that Avi's gonna-" Mitch froze as soon as the words came out.

"What?" Kirstie asked right away, excitement bubbling inside of her.

"Um, he said that...uh, hot dogs! Avi is, uh, going to make hot dogs for us!" Scott rambled.

"Yeah, sure, hot dogs that are going to be real...adorable." Mitch smiled as Scott cringed at their terribly formed lie.

"Oh, really? Well he doesn't have to, I think Esther said we're going to stop by some fast food place for dinner." Kirstie shrugged it off. Scott and Mitch looked at each other, relieved and a little bit shocked that she didn't figure it out.

"Y-yeah, we'll just tell him real quick." Mitch basically pulled Scott to the back lounge where Avi was tuning his guitar.

"Hey, um, if Kirstie asks about hot dogs...don't be surprised." Scott chuckled before they both scrambled back to Kirstie. Avi looked after them for a few minutes before shaking his head, grinning.

But now, it was finally time for Avi to show her what he had been talking up for days. But she knew it was going to be big. He always went all out for things like this. Then she found herself panicking. What if he wanted to propose or something? She loved him with all her heart, but neither of them were ready! She felt her palms start to sweat as she felt Avi sit next to her on the couch.

"Ready?" he asked, excitement clear in his voice.

"Um...yes?" she nervously replied as Avi took off the blindfold. Her eyes were still closed when it was off. "Kirstie? Uh, open your eyes!"

She slowly blinked them open and gasped at what she saw in front of her. A small cardboard box on the floor, with a beautiful, little French bulldog puppy sleeping inside of it.

"Oh. My. Gosh!" she jumped on Avi, kissing his face and hugging him so tight. She had been begging him for a dog for ages, and let it go when he kept telling her that they wouldn't be able to take care of it because of touring. This was the very last thing she was expecting, and she couldn't be more happy.

Her squeals of joy woke up the little guy, and he sat up, his head tilted to the side looking at his new owners. She lifted him up out of the box, bringing him close to her chest. The dog warmed up to her easily and started licking her face. "Aw, little puppy kisses! Avi! This dog is the cutest!" Kirstie couldn't contain her joy as she rubbed behind his ears which made him happy.

"I hope you don't mind, I already named him." Avi sheepishly said after a few minutes of just Kirstie adoring their new puppy. He was white with a black patches dotted all over him. His eyes were so big and his tail wagged every time Kirstie spoke.

She looked at his collar to see that the tag read: Dragon.

"Of course," she giggled, kissing Avi on the cheek before directing her attention back to Dragon. "I love him, and his name, and everything about him!" she hugged the dog close before setting him on the floor.

"And I love you." Kirstie kissed Avi passionately before Dragon started clawing at her legs.

"Is someone jealous?" Avi picked him up and set him on his lap. Dragon barked, looking at them both before settling to sleep on Avi's lap. It was too perfect for Kirstie not to post on Instagram.

@kirstintaylor12: Meet the new member of the family: Dragon! Thank you @avi_kaplan for the best gift ever, and for putting up with me for an entire year. I love you!

A/N: wow it's been a week since I updated. And I literally have no excuse >.< I apologize...so yes, I gave them a dog, and yes I named him Dragon. I regret nothing. Hopefully he'll make appearances in other stories? Hmm, maybe. Oh and I didn't go back and edit this so if it's crap then, yeah, that's why.

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE WE ARE NINJAS VIDEO. LIKE, THE LYRICS ARE A BIT RIDICULOUS AND HILARIOUS BUT THEY ALL LOOKED AND SOUNDED AMAZING AND I'M OBSESSED.
