August P.O.V

"Can I hit again? Can I hit again?" I heard Mal singing as I walked into the bathroom. She love some Jhene Aiko.

"I should be asking you that." I said causing her to jump.

"Stop scaring me Aug." she said causing me to laugh.

"Aight baby. You ready to go?" I asked.

"Yea. What time it start again?" she asked slipping on her shoes.

"5. Its 4:30 now." I said.

"Daddy gonna kill us." she said as she started jogging down the stairs.

"Well lets go, I'm not tryna be on his bad side already." I said.

Malorie P.O.V

 

"You ready?"  I asked August

"Yea. yea." he said closing his eyes.

I grabbed his hand and laughed before kissing his cheek.

"Then why is your hand so sweaty?" I laughed.

He smacked his lips.

"That's uh..lotion" he said. "I ain't nervous."

"Look bae you ain't gotta lie. If you nervous tell me." I said

"I'm nervous. I mean that's your daddy, and your daddy's lul princess. If he don't like me, it ain't even gone feel right. And your brother too, cause y'all hella close." he said.

"Babe there gonna love you. My mama already loves you, probably more than she love me." I said causing him to laugh."Just go in here and be the gentleman that you are."

"You right. I don't even know why I'm tripping. I mean people love me naturally. Shit." he said getting all boasted up.

"I didn't." I mumbled.

"Wait till we get home." he said.

I hopped outta Aug's Range Rover and met him on the little cobblestone path to my parent's house. He grabbed my hand and we walked to the door together.I knocked and in less than 20 seconds my mama was right there.

"My little boyfriend." She squealed hugging August.

"Hey boo." He laughed.

"Well gee mom.  I am standing here." I said.

"She so jealous." August said laughing along with ma.

"Right. I just seen her big head yesterday." she said.

"Ha Ha. Where pops and Adrian." I asked.

"Gameroom." she said before going back into the kitchen.

I grabbed August's hand as he looked down at me. I felt his hand tighten against mine as we stopped in front of the door.

"You ready?" I asked.

He nodded before leaning down and kissing my forehead,

"Mal Mal" I heard as soon as I walked into the room. My brother stood there with the biggest smile ever as well as me. I ran and jumped into his awaiting arms.

"I missed you bubba" I said trying not to let tears fall. I mean me and him been close forever since we're only 2 years apart. But he joined the military and I only got to see him on certain holidays. I haven't seen my brother since Christmas last year and it was already October again.
