August P.O.V

I watched as Mal stood in front of the mirror looking at herself.

"Does this look alright?" She asked turning around towards me.

"You looked fine 3 outfits ago Malorie." I sighed.

"You sure ?" She asked.

"Yea. Let's go." I said standing up. "You look amazing."

She smiled slighty before standing on her tippy toes to give me a kiss.

"I know I tell you this a lot but I really do love you." She said causing my heart to perk up.

"And I love you even more." I said leaving down and kissing her. If only she knew how much I loved her.

She smiled making my body get goosebumps, I just couldn't help how I felt about this girl.

"You ready?" I asked.

"Yeah ." She smiled.

We were on our way to the airport because we were flying to LA. It was time for the BET Awards, and yours truly was performing. I was glad to have everything straightened out so that my fiancé could walk the red carpet together and all that shit. I really ain't had the chance to show her off to the world, but now I can. I want everybody to see how beautiful my trophy was.

"Finally here." I said as we walked into our huge suite. It was right down the road from the place the awards were being held.

"Baby I'm so proud of you." Mal said. "Your nominated so many times tonight."

"I know, I'm proud of my damn self. I wish mama was here tho." I said .

"Me too but you know her and planes don't really go together." She said.

"Yeah. But Travis here thankfully and I haven't seem him in forever , I miss him." I said.

"I've never met him, so that gotta happen soon. But on Instagram y'all look kind of alike, like y'all got certain features that are similar." She smiled.

"I know, but I look better." I said boosting up my ego.

"Whatever." She laughed. "You think my dress for the awards look nice?"

"Hell nah." I said.

She looked up at me with wide eyes.

"Are you serious." She asked.

"Yea." I said.

Her cheeks turned red from embarrassment.

"That dress ain't nice at all. It's bomb as hell. It's just as gorgeous as the person that's going to be wearing it in a few hours." I said smiling.

She looked up at me and punched me in the chest

"I almost had a heart attack August." She said.

"Baby you worry way too much. Your gonna look amazing." I said laughing a little.

"No , you just play to much." She said.

"Look, Cam will be here in about a hour to pick you up, me on the other hand , I got to go do a few interviews for the BET Experience people. After that I'm gone meet you so we can walk the red carpet togetha." I said.

"Okay. Just make sure you meet me on time." She said.

"I will. I'll see you in a few , okay? Cam is in room 508 , if you need anything." I asked grabbing my phone.

"Okay. Be safe and do good. I know Mels smiling right now." She said.

I smiled and kissed her lips.
