Malorie P.O.V

"What the fuck was that?" I whispered as me and Cierra clung onto Adrian. "Where Lana."

"I'm right here." She said holding a knife in her hand.

"What y'all think that was?" Adrian asked.

I shrugged before going into the kitchen closet and getting the gun August had brought for emergencies. I hated the sight of a gun but if it was gonna save my or anybody I love life I was down for whatever.

"Lemme see that sis. I'm gone check it out. Y'all stay here , and call 911, if you hear a scream or some shit. Okay?" Adrain asked.

We all nodded and watched him walk out the back door.

"Lord , please let this not be too serious." I said. The last thing I wanted to do was have to call August and tell him because knowing him he would stop his whole tour, come home and fuck some shit up.

"Girl I'm scared." Cierra said grabbing her phone and dialing a number.

"Who you calling?" I asked.

"Chris. I just want him to know I love him and that he better not fuck with nobody after I die or I'll haunt his ass." She said.

Lana smacked her lips and snatched the phone from her. "You so dramatic Ce." She said

I took a seat on the floor and looked down at my belly and smiled. I can't believe I'm actually having a baby, and with the man I love.

2 minutes later Adrian came knocking on the door.

Cierra let him in and he was breathing all heavy.

"You okay?" I asked immediately shooting up. "What happened?"

"So I walk outside and instantly got attacked. I ended up getting the best of him and when I started to take off him mask he ran away . I tried chasing him down but that nigga fast." He said as Lana handed him a bottle of water.

"Ain't this some shit." Cierra said.

"And look at your window." Lana said walking into the front room.

There was a big ass hole in the glass window and a brick on the other side.

This was toooo much right now. I didn't have any emotion except for sadness. My eyes welled up with tears and then after a few seconds they were released.

"Calm down sis, it can all be solved." Adrian said hugging me.

"I just want them to leave me alone. I miss my husband." I said crying into his chest. The unhormonal Malorie would've never been like this, but I was pregnant and emotional.

"I know, look, your not staying here tonight. Go pack some bags and you can stay with me." He said.

I nodded and wiped my tears.

"I'll meet you down here." He said

I nodded again a and went upstairs to grab a couple outfits. Once I had everything we got in his car and rode off.

There was no way I'm staying there.

"Good job out there Kayla." I complimented.

"Thanks, you did good too." She smiled before gulping down her water.
