Time flew by. Taehyung had joined work the next week, and finally shifted back to his own house. After the so called "date" that day, Jungkook was heavily yelled at by Taehyung. Taehyung high-key didn't appreciate Jungkook wasting so much money over a lame date. Jungkook had just nervously laughed, not answering Taehyung on how and why he got the expensive suit and wine for him.

Till this day, it was a mystery to Taehyung, but he decided to let go off the topic. If the office was chaotic without Taehyung, then it was downright psychotic with Taehyung. All his fangirls didn't cease to attack him with unneeded attention and questions. Taehyung being Taehyung, flicked all of them off.

Yoongi had pretty much demanded to know what had happened, as Jungkook had always dodged the questions. Taehyung, who had a soft spot for him, decided to tell the truth. Well, atleast a part of the truth. He skipped the parts about him trying to blackmail Jungkook and then staying at his place.

So yeah, life went on peacefully.

Jungkook highly doubted how long it'll last, but as long as everyone was happy, he didn't care.

---------------------

"Jungkook! I need you to come here." Yoongi called from his reception desk, as he saw Jungkook casually walking towards the canteen

Jungkook walked over to him, and smiled, but it soon faltered after observing Yoongi carefully.

"You've...got dark circles. Have you not been sleeping well?" Jungkook furrowed his brows, giving him a stern look

Yoongi let out a bitter laugh.

"Sleep, my ass." Yoongi mumbled

Jungkook's face contorted in worry, and he caressed Yoongi's cheek.

"Yoongi...what's wrong?" He asked softly

Yoongi, who had been trying his best not to make eye contact, looked away. He moved away from Jungkook. Even though everyone had left for the canteen, and the cubicles and cabins were empty, he still didn't want to talk.

Jungkook sighed.

"They say that your sorrows become lighter once you share them. But I won't force you, speak only when you're comfortable." Jungkook smiled

"I-I need you to go to Taehyung. He told me to remind you that you're supposed to collect your monthly salary today. You've been working here for a month n-now." Yoongi spoke, his back turned towards Jungkook

The realisation dawned on Jungkook, and he flicked his own forehead for being so forgetful.

But he'd worry about the salary later, his only concern now was Yoongi. He didn't miss how Yoongi stuttered. And Yoongi was someone who never stuttered.

He knew he shouldn't force Yoongi to talk, and he wouldn't do it. He just wanted to make sure that Yoongi would be alright.

"I'll meet Mr. Kim later, right now, I need you to have lunch in the canteen, like the rest of the office is doing." Jungkook firmly tugged at the corner of Yoongi's shirt

"Kook, now's not the time. Leave me alone, please." Yoongi sighed

Jungkook huffed in fake anger.
