Jungkook took a deep breath, mustering up all his courage and patience before entering the mansion he hated with a passion.

Kim Daehyung sat in all his glory, looking quite calm and collected, like he just hadn't dialled the younger a few hours ago, asking him to come to his mansion immediately as it was urgent.

"Well, well, well. I didn't think you'd manage to arrive so fast. Eager, aren't we?" Daehyung smirked making the younger want to punch the expression off his face

"What do you want? I'm not here to have a casual chit chat with you."

"Looks like Taehyung has taught you a thing or two about being a disrespectful brat." Daehyung's expression darkened

Jungkook scoffed.

"Sure he has. You don't deserve respect, Kim."

Much to Jungkook's surprise, the elder man merely chuckled.

"Do you want to continue to be feisty, or shall we get to business? I've called you here for a reason y'know?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes, nodding. He wanted to get this shit over with and go home to cuddle Taehyung.

Daehyung quickly pulled out a few documents, handing them over to Jungkook, whose jaw hung in shock.

"What the fuck is this?"

"I'm sure you're educated enough to read it yourself," the elder mocked

"If it's another contract, rest assured I'm not signing it. The last time I signed one, I got fucking married."

Kim Daehyung tsked.

"It IS another contract, but unlike last time, I wish to be honest with you."

"Save it. I don't even wanna hear it because I'm not signing this contract."

"It's for your future, Jungkook. Please don't argue with me, I'm doing it to help you."

Jungkook scoffed at the man's stupidity.

"You don't even give a shit about your own son, and you're telling me you want to help me? Save that crap, nothing you say is gonna make me sign this contract."

Jungkook was determined to not lose his stability in case Daehyung mentioned his parents like last time. He wouldn't allow himself to get blackmailed at any cost.

"Jungkook. You don't know the reasons behind why I chose to take certain decisions in my son's case. I'm doing it for both of you, please let me do it."

"Doing what? Making your son, who was still in the closet, get married to a guy? Make your son hate my guts because all this fucking time he kept accusing me of something I had no control over? Make your son lose his mom at the age of 14? Is that what you call "caring"? Miss me with that bullshit." Jungkook snapped, breathing hard

"And right now, our relationship's finally alright. We're happy...and you come back again to fuck things over."

The bodyguard who had been silently watching them all along, edged closer towards him and Jungkook knew he'd probably have gotten shot by now if he wasn't married to the boss's son.

Daehyung took a deep breath, as if trying to calm himself down before saying or doing anything he'd regret.

"Jungkook. I understand you're pissed at me and literally hate my guts, but please hear me out first."

Jungkook nodded slowly, gritting his teeth.

"This contract states that I give you the right to become the CEO of Kim Corporations after my death."
