10-Pushing

        
        I see the same scene as before, the chiaturi are attacking New York. I am circled with everyone as we look up. Steve gives us all orders and we go our separate ways. I then see Tony flying through the hole in the sky and after awhile he falls back down. I panic as he keeps falling faster thinking he's going to die

I slowly open my eyes to see I'm in the infirmary, laying on one of the beds.
"Welcome back" I hear Maria say.
"What happened?" I ask her.
"You tell us, I was talking to you and you suddenly passed out" Steve says to me as he stands by the bed I'm on.
"It was the usual, wasn't it?"Maria asks looking down at me.
"Yeah, looks like I'm sticking around" I tell her.

"The usual?" Steve questions.
"I'll explain one day, I just get really bad headaches and they happen randomly" I say, as I go to sit up slowly.
"Take a second" Maria says as she hands me a glass of water.

"I should go check on Bruce and Tony" Steve informs me.
"I'll go with you" I say to him as I take a sip of water.
"You should get rest" he says to me.
"No I want to see what they are up to since I'm sticking around" I say as I set the glass down and I get up and stumble, he catches me.
"You sure you don't need rest" he asks concern on his face.
"I'm good" I say as he pulls away letting me go.
"You are one stubborn women" he smiles at me.

We head down the hall toward the lab, we walk in and see Tony poking Bruce, "ow!" Bruce says .
"Nothing" we hear Tony say.
"Hey! Are you nuts!" Steve says to Tony.
"You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? What's your secret? Mellow jazz? Bongo drums? Huge bag of weed" Tony continues to provoke Bruce.

"Is everything a joke to you" I say to the jerk.
"Funny things are, Green was it" he jokes back.
"Agent Austin to you" I say glaring at the man.
"Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny. No offence, doctor" Steve says as he looks over at Bruce.

"No, it's alright. I wouldn't have come a board if I couldn't handle pointy things" Bruce tells us.
"You're tiptoeing, big man. You need to strut" Tony says.
"And you need to focus on the problem Mr. Stark" Steve says bitterly.

"You think I'm not? Why did Fury call us and why now? Why not before? What isn't he telling us? I can't do the equation unless I have all the variables" Tony informs us.
"You think Fury is hiding something?" I ask.
"He's a spy," Tony then looks at Steve , "Captain he is the spy. His secrets have secrets" he then points at Bruce. "It's bugging him too, isn't it"

"Uh, I just..wanna finish my work here" Bruce mumbles.
"Doctor" I say getting a little worried.
"A warm light for all mankind, Loki's jab at Fury about the cube" The doctor suddenly says to us.

"We heard it" I say back.
Bruce then points over at Tony, "well I think that was meant for you. Even if Barton didn't post that all over the news" he explains.
"The STARK tower" I say realizing what he is talking about.
"The big ugly building in New York" Steve says earning a look from Tony.

"It's powered by Stark reactors, self-sustaining energy source. That building will run itself for what, a year" Bruce says to Tony.
"That's just a prototype. I'm kind of the only name in clean energy right now" Tony smirks.

"So why didn't SHIELD bring him in on the tesseract project? I mean, what are they doing in the energy business in there first place" Bruce says to us.
"I should probably look into that once my decryption programmer finishes breaking into all of SHIELD's secure files." Tony then says as he looks at a computer screen.

Steve and I just look at Tony in disbelief, "I'm sorry did you say" Steve says.
"Jarvis has been running it since I hit the bridge" he then picks up a bag of blueberries and starts to eat them. "In a few hours we'll know every dirty secret SHIELD has ever tried to hide" he then holds the bag out to us.
"Blueberry" he offers, and we all decline.

"Yet, your confused why they didn't want you around" Steve says getting annoyed at him.
"An intelligence organization that fears the intelligence. Historically, not possible" Tony smirks at us.
"I think Loki is trying to get us to go at each other" I say to the men.

"This is a man who means to start a war, and if we don't stay focused, he'll succeed. We have orders, we should follow them" Steve says to the egotistic man.
"Following is not really my style" Tony says.
Steve smirks at Tony, "and your all about style aren't you" I can tell they are starting to get on each other's nerves.

"Of all the people in this room which one is a) wearing a spangly outfit and b) not of use" Tony bitterly says to Steve.
"Steve, Cassandra tell me none of this smells a little funky to you" Bruce asks us.
"Just find the cube" Steve orders them as he leaves the room.

"He's a little tense, maybe you should go relax him. He's been on ice for too long" Tony says to me. I get a little angry and feel the balls of energy from in my hands.
"Maybe I'm not the one we need to worry about" I hear Bruce say as he looks at my hands.
I take a deep breath, "just do your job men" I then make them disappear as I walk out of the room and go look for where Steve took off to.
