Chapter 1 Moonlight

This is a story where wolves rule the earth. Big, enormous beasts driven by instincts and instincts alone. They were free spirit doing whatever they want, whenever they want. So enchanting with emotions so strong for even themselves to control and it's those strong emotions and desires that draws them closer and closer to extinction. All because they didn't have an anchor or some sort of self-restraint to keep them from lashing out. Until 100 years later a shaman wolf found a way to suppress these animalistic instincts to save their kind. The ability to shift into a lesser body, so their emotions can be easily suppressed. This ability, this form was named "human".

The sun and moon council were formed, to lead and protect every wolf. One of the first rules they made was that wolves only transforms during special occasions such as hunting, training, mating, fighting if necessary, traditional celebration and so on. After a, 1000 years till this day in the 21st century every wolf, from around the globe, lived happily and peacefully in their human form. Alphas, Betas, and Omegas alike. The 3 main types of wolves.

Alphas are the most dominate and aggressive of wolves. The most powerful of all wolves within their ranks. The top dogs. They are also know for their leadership skills and compare to other wolves they're stronger physically than any others.

Betas are the neutral and simple kinds. They are more balanced than any other wolves. And even though they look and act simple, Betas are said to be the only ones that can actually go toe to toe with an alpha in a fight and win. And although their pheromones aren't as strong as that of an alpha and omega, they can also use their pheromones just as any wolves to express their emotions and thoughts through their scent.

Omegas are the lesser kinds. The weak links by nature. They weren't as strong or as tough as alphas and betas. But what omegas is well known for is their love, loyalty, patience and caring nature which made them perfect for parental duties. And that's what also gave them a reputation for being the most desired wolves for mating by all 3 categories.

And this is the story of 2 wolves that met and eventually fell in love. A love story between an alpha and an omega.

The moon shine brilliantly in the dark night sky over Lunar Island's mystic forest. Only a few knew what was beyond the shadows of redwood trees which formed a gateway into the bewildering woods. But the stars in the galaxies above had more knowledge of wolves living within these woods.

A white blur zoomed past bushes, rustling leaves and several other flowers. Paws thudded gently but firmly on the ground, leaping whenever a rock or fallen log was in the way. Moving fast and swiftly with the gentle breeze of the forest. An omega covered in grey furs with a hint of pitch black highlights ran through the forest. He dodged the trees and fallen logs as he made his way to the ravine which flows in between the 2 territories of the most powerful packs on the island of Lunar. The Morse and the Hale pack.

These territories were ruled by great alphas who deeply cared for their pack. The Hales were currently under the leadership and protection of the alpha "Sebastian Hale". While the Morse pack was ruled by the 2 alphas "Miguel" and "Carla" who were happily married and are the proud parents of their sons "Cole", "Theo" and "Seth". The Morse for over 800 years, through out their family history, have always been a group of alphas and betas. A very impressive family tree of only strong wolves. Until now...

Now Theo is the first Morse to ever been born an omega and he hates it. Theo was always strong mentally since he wasn't as physically as his brothers or any of his family members. He is too skinny just like every omegas should be. Yet he's always been just as strong as any other alpha since he was raised by alphas. That makes him one of the rare kind of wolves. The kind that are stronger on their own then they are in packs. The lone wolves which are born omegas with the strength and capabilities of any and every alpha. Basically, they were supposed to be born alphas and yet born omegas. That makes them alphas with the eye color and parental nature of an omega. But still something about that title makes his blood boils.
