Jason’s POV

We are on our way back to Liam’s place. It’s still raining and I’m pretty tired. There’s been an awkward silence here and there but I don’t think either of us really minded. It was nice not to hear any yelling or crying. I can see that Liam keeps checking on me which I find so adorable. I don’t think he notices that I know but that’s alright. I feel so safe to be here with him. We finally arrived to his place. We got out of the car and he took me inside.

“And here we are!” He said cheerfully.

“Oh my… wow.” I whispered in awe.

The place was amazing. It wasn’t huge but it definitely wasn’t small. It’s very well furnished and it just feels so homey. I don’t know if I’ll ever get over the fact I’m here. But I am. And I couldn’t be any happier.

Liam’s POV

“And here we are!” I cheered.

We just arrived at my place. I let Jason in and I continue walking. I turn around to see that Jason was just standing there in awe.

“Jason, are you alright? Are you hurting?” I asked.

“Oh, no I’m sorry. I’m still in a little state of shock.” He smiled.

“Okay.” I said with a smirk.

“Come with me then. I’ll get you fixed up.”

I don’t know how or why but I have this… feeling. It’s strange in a way but not a bad feeling. I want to care for Jason and help him. Is that so bad? Back in the car I kept checking on him to make sure he didn’t pass out or anything in case of a concussion or something of the sort. He is bruised a little and he was bleeding a little bit as well. Probably from being hit when he was on the ground. Poor thing… That guy is such an ass. Hurting such a nice guy. First I brought Jason to the kitchen. I got an ice pack and wrapped it in a towel so it won’t be too cold.

“Here, take this.” I said as I gave it to Jason.

“Thank you.” He smiled.

“Okay now follow me to the bathroom. I’m gonna clean out your wounds from where you were bleeding.”

“What about you? Aren’t you hurt Liam?” Jason asked.

I could sense that he was concerned with me as well but my priority right now was making sure he was okay.

“Babe like I said earlier don’t worry about me. Right now I would just like to make sure you’re better.” I smiled.

I saw my face in the mirror when we got to the bathroom. Now I know why Jason was so concerned with me. My face was slightly bruised and my lip was cut from being hit. Guess that’s why I tasted blood. The adrenaline kind of made everything not hurt so badly and I’m not really hurting right not either. I simply washed Jason’s scrapes and cuts with soap and water since hydrogen peroxide actually doesn’t help all that much.

“How are your bruises doing?” I asked Jason.

“Eh, they’re alright. A little painful and I have a headache but I think I’ll survive.” He chuckled.

I couldn’t help but to let out a laugh as well. He’s just too cute.

“Well I want you to take two of these.” I reached into the medicine cabinet and gave Jason two pills.

“It’s to help with the headache and just in case you suffered a minor concussion or something. I know it’s unlikely you have one but better safe than sorry.” I winked.
