08 - Concussion

HITOSHI

I heard a loud thud from the pavement behind me. Seconds later, sound of footsteps tapping rapidly growing louder. I turned around to notice a spiky-blonde haired guy approaching someone lying on the floor.

My blood turned cold to see who that someone was.

"Oi, Deku! DEKU WAKE UP!!!"

OH DEAR GOD...

"DEKU, YOU IDIOT! WAKE UP!"

NOT THIS AGAIN....

"IZUKU!"

"...what..." I whispered while clenching my fist,"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM, YOU FUCKING BRUTE?!"

"Shinsou-kun, please calm-" The girl with short brown hair approached towards me. She must be Izuku's friend along with that guy with glasses.

"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Bakugou yelled making every student on the entrance staring at him and Izuku.

"STOP LYING!"

"That's enough both of you! I don't want you to start a fight while a student has just literally passed out." Aizawa stepped towards us, intimidating us with that immobilizing scarf floating mid-air, "Both of you must be ashamed of yourselves-- after all of those months of teaching you to be a hero."

We both restrained ourselves after hearing his low yet demanding voice that showed authority. It was frightening compared to both of us screaming. The teacher-- who is known to be devoid of concern to his students (almost), sighed exasperatedly, "Shinsou, please take Midoriya to the infirmary."

"Y-yes, sir." I shakily knelt down, grabbed Izuku by his neck on one hand and his legs on the other. I can hear Bakugou clicking his tongue in annoyance while backing away.

Then he faced towards the surrounding students, who yelped in surprise after witnessing how scary their teacher was, "What are you all standing there for? Go to your classroom or I'll expel you."

At the millisecond they heard him, everyone scrambled away. Looking through corner of my eyes I noticed at Bakugou briefly yet intently staring at Izuku.

"Are you sure that this had something to do with him falling off the stairs yesterday?"

I had the urge to gulp when I heard Recovery Girl's question. I had to compose myself, or otherwise she will tell Izuku.

"Yes."

"Well then..." She looked down, writing something on her clipboard, "I recommend him to be taken to the hospital for MRI and CT scans. Of course, we need her mother's consent for those. Is she coming he--"

"Wait..." I couldn't believe what she has just said about sending him to the hospital, "Is-is there something seriously wrong with Izuku?"

"I believe he has a concussion. Of course, that will possibly remain hypothetical without those scans." She replied, but before I said anything, she added, "Though, there is one thing that is confusing for me... Where did Midoriya-kun get those burns?"

I panicked when I heard the question, also something about Izuku having a concussion.

"Shinsou-kun, have you ever denied the fact the he just fell off the stairs?"

"No, never."

"You know... A person can get a concussion when he was being physically assaulted. Of course, if he hits his head."
