Death of the Sea Prince
I want to tell you to believe in happy endings, but I am dead and I know better. My hands stretched out, but I never reached my dream; to be king of the sea. The king's throne beckoned, it glittered in the sun. I was stopped by a sword piercing my head from the back. The lowliest mermen hit you in the back. "Coward," I screamed dying slowly. I wish I never found out, who killed me, my younger brother. The humans think I am a statue, they don't know I was once a merman, crown prince of the seas.
