~ ~ ~ TIME SKIP, 3 MONTHS ~ ~ ~I'm currently getting ready for graduation. As per the advice of these around me, I have been home schooled for the past three months, getting my assignments from Jughead when he comes over after school, pretty much everyday. The cravings have been becoming weirder and weirder, but as I'm reaching the end of my pregnancy, they seem to be leveling off a little bit. I'm about 8 months pregnant at this point, and pretty big to be perfectly honest. Even though I've been home schooled for the past few months, I still need to attend graduation as I am a student at Riverdale High School, just have been completing school from home. I was lost in thought as I looked at myself in my mirror, a beautiful maternity dress with my graduation cap on and the gown over my shoulders but undone, paired with some tan wedges. But then I heard a knock at my bedroom door that broke me out of thought.
"Hey there beautiful," Jug said, as he came over to where I was standing and placed his arms around my sides and placed his hands on my baby belly.
"Hi," I said turning around, giving him a quick kiss on the lips, "you look handsome."
"And you look amazing." We just stood there for a while looking at each other before Jug finally spoke up, breaking the comfortable silence we were in. "Let me get this for you," he said, grabbing the sides of my graduation robe.
"I haven't even checked if it'll fit to be honest," I said and we both started laughing, although then I looked down, and Jug had positioned the tie just above my belly, making it come up a little at the front, but not so much that it was inappropriate. "Come on," I started, "we should go...". Gripping his hand in mine, I lead him out of the room and we went downstairs.
"We're off everyone!" I called out to my family.
"Oh honey!" my mom said, tears threatening to spill at the corner of her eyes. Then looking around, I noticed everyone had a similar reaction.
"Why are you all crying? I'll see you in like an hour, at graduation," I said laughing.
"Oh come here," my dad said pulling us all into a group hug. I released myself from Jughead and went over.
"You too Jug," Polly said, noticing Jughead standing, watching the family moment. He came over and hugged near where I was, my mom and Polly.
"Okay!" my mom said wiping tears, "lets get some photos now and some photos later," she said running off to grab her camera. "Come on you two, over here," she said pointing to a hardwood wall we have next to our staircase.
"We'll see you later, okay?" I said, smiling at my family as Jug and I walked out the door.
"Yes honey."
"Okay, bye everyone," Jug said slightly nervously from beside me.
We started walking towards Riverdale High, a route which I had come to know very well since moving here from San Francisco, despite not having been down it much for the past few months. Riverdale is only a small town, so its not hard to memorize the ways to different places. Including the Southside.
"So, this month graduation, next month a baby. What's next in the life of Betty Cooper?" Jug says chuckling, as we kept walking towards Riverdale High, our hands intertwined.
"Well, I don't know," I say, giggling and nudging him slightly on the arm, "I guess we'll have to see what happens next in our life Juggie." I look up and see him smiling down at me, as we begin to arrive at Riverdale High, seeing the crowds of children in graduation gowns in front of the doors of the local high school.
"B!" Veronica says, as she comes running up to me, stealing my hand away from Jughead's.
"Wow. Never thought it would be my sister who steals you away from me," Jughead says jokingly, as Archie comes up and punches him on the arm.
