ok i could write a boring paragraph about how sorry i am for how late this is but instead i'll say:

a) thankyou so much for over 600,000 on game on, Bieber, that is ridiculously insane and i love each and everyone of you

b) i hope you like this chapter, i think it turned out pretty good considering how stuck i was with the plot

c) but like i really am sorry for the stupidly long wait even though i promised it was going to be earlier

d) i love you all so much

song reccommendation: Ariana Grande's hide and seek cover, it's old but it's seriously so soothing and beautiful

love you,

“Baby girl, I’m not gonna get caught. I promise. Stay here with Noah, okay, and I’ll be back in an hour. I love you.” He planted a soft, lingering kiss on my forehead and my eyes fluttered closed as I sighed in defeat.

“I love you more.” I whispered as he released me, turning away from me to follow Richard. Maybe my heart wouldn’t have been beating so hard if I hadn’t seen the look in his eyes and the sly smirk on his face as he walked out of the door, as if he was looking forward to the job.

Justin’s POV:

After loading the van with the delivery, Richard reappeared, clamping a hand down onto my shoulder.

“You ready?” He asked, his voice gruff as he blew smoke out from a cigarette. I nodded, clenching and unclenching my clammy hands.

“Alright, Bieber. Here’s the address.” He reached into the pocket of his pressed slacks and pulled out a folded piece of paper. I opened it to reveal a messily scribbled address before I placed it into my own pocket.

“This guy knows I’m coming right?” I asked, my voice scratchy. I cleared my throat and glanced back at the van, the nervous feeling in my stomach growing. Despite the anxiousness I felt though, I couldn’t ignore the underlying feeling of… something else, another feeling that came with getting back onto the jobs after all this time. I just couldn’t quite put my finger on it.

“Of course. He’s expecting you within the hour, so no pit stops along the way.” Richard raised an eyebrow at me and I gave a stiff nod. I then stepped back, moving to climb into the driver’s seat of Noah’s car. The marijuana was in the trunk, packaged in clear, tight wraps.

“Oh, and Justin?” I looked back at my boss. “Do not get pulled over. I can smell the weed from here. If you get caught, it comes back to me. And if it comes back to me-,” He threw his smoke onto the ground, crushing it underneath his shoe. “I’ll kill you.”

With that, he turned and disappeared back into the warehouse.

I swallowed, slamming the door closed and starting the car up, gripping the wheel tightly. Adrenaline coursed through my veins as I sped along the roads, and despite the potential danger that surrounded everything about this life that I had somehow managed to be dragged back into, the smile that crept up onto my face as I reviewed the situation whilst I drove was evident, and I couldn’t bring myself to care.
