Legends and Not

Val's POV:
I felt terrible for yelling at my brother. I also felt terrible about locking him in the room, and ignoring his banging on the door and yelling.
But he had no right to spread those false rumors around and get everyone frightened!
I assured everyone what Fonix was saying was nothing but legend, but deep inside me I felt sort of scared. We kept Fonix and Phoenix locked in the ship when it landed. And still locked, when we opened the ship's door and headed out. I tried not to look back at the ship's window. I knew my brother would be looking out it with me with the look in his eyes..:She left me! We were supposed to stay together! Sis!:
I held my head high, swallowing back guilty feelings.
I was so lost in my mind, I jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"You did the right thing." Jonathan told me, his hand rested on my shoulder.
I nodded.
"So what are we doing exactly?" Jack asked.
"We need to find out more about the planet." I told him.
"But...didn't Fonix have a book on the planet...we could of just found out what we needed to know....inside the ship, right?" Max half laughed, fear shifting in his eyes.
Sheer laughed, "Are you scared kid?"
Max straitened, "Kid? Your only one year older than me! Why you calling me a kid?" He glared at Sheer.
Sheer was about to start again, until Victoria spoke up...
"HEY!" Victoria shouted. "Look we all are a little scared! And there's no reason for us to get into fights! We got to stick together, ok?" She reasoned.
I nodded.
There was complete silence as we walked through a jungle. It was creepy. We all huddled close. We suddenly heard a evil sounding laugh!
Jonathan picked up a large stick on the ground. "Everyone stay behind me!"
"Oh for goodness sake it was probably just a bird!" Sheer rolled her eyes.
"Sheer don't!" Victoria whispered, as Sheer walked past Jonathan and deeper into the forest. Everyone exchanged fearful glances. "SIS! Wait up!!" Jonathan called, jogging up to Sheer. We followed close behind him. We turned a corner.
Sheer wasn't there.
"Sheer?" Jonathan asked hesitantly. I stepped next to Jonathan. "Where is she?" I wondered aloud. "Sheer!? Sheer!!" Victoria yelled out. Max and Jack knelt to the ground. "She made footprints..." Max said glancing back.. "..But they stop here..!" Jack finished.
I looked up above us.
I saw Sheer above us, her eyes wide, and a stranger's hand clasped over her mouth.
The stranger was masked all in black.
I screamed.
Everyone looked up at what I was looking at. Everyone startled jumped back, except me.
I was frozen, luckily Jonathan grabbed my hand and pulled me away from right under Sheer and the stranger.
"Your next..!!!" The stranger whispered, his eyes scanning all of us. Suddenly the stranger and Sheer VANISHED!!
"SHEER!!!!!" Victoria screamed, looking around frantically. The twins were frozen and a bit pale faced. Jonathan's eyes were wide with fear. Where did Sheer go!? Who was the stranger?! We needed to rescue Sheer!!
Suddenly the stranger reappeared in front of us. We screamed.
"Hello! I told you you'd all be next!!" The Stranger whispered raspy.
"WHERE IS SHEER?!" Victoria yelled, "WHERE DID YOU TAKE MY SISTER?!"
She looked like she was about the murder the stranger. "If you lay a hand on any one them..." Jonathan threatened, glaring at the stranger. I realized in the midst I didn't realize Jonathan was still holding my hand.
The masked stranger walked closer to Jonathan. Jonathan held didn't move and kept is glare cold. "Don't take one more step!" Jonathan whispered to the stranger.
The stranger did take one more step, taping Jonathan's forehead.
Jonathan then collapsed to the ground.
Omg.......!!
My breath was frozen as Jonathan went limp in front of me, his hand falling from my mine. I covered my mouth, my heart pounding.
I looked up staring into the strangers eyes, the only thing I could see of he/she. The strangers purple eyes stared back at me. The stranger then grabbed a hand full of sparkly dark purple dust from his/hers pocket and blew it on us.
We all screamed.
But I was the only one screaming a name.
"FONIX!!!!!!!!"
We all collapsed and everything fell black...
