Fonix's POV:
"VAL!!!" I screamed as I ran into the forest. "FONIX!! No!" Phoenix screamed. I ran faster and deeper into the woods, brushing leaves, cobwebs out of my face. I continued to scream my sisters name. I then tripped and fell in a large puddle of mud. Phoenix rushed over and helped me up.
I sat next to a nearby trickling stream to wash the mud of my face. "Where are we?" I asked looking around. "I don't know...I was chasing you. So basically we're lost out here.." Phoenix cringed. "Sorry." I whispered quietly. "It's not your fault..you just wanted to find your sister and everyone else." Phoenix Replied. I nodded. "SSSsssssssss" I heard. "Stop that!" Phoenix told me, but it wasn't me that made that noise! "What? I'm not.." I said, turning to see a huge cobra behind Phoenix's neck! "DUCK!!" I yelled, pushing myself and Phoenix to the ground. The snake missed! As the snake prepared to circle around Phoenix or my neck and choke one of us to death, I grabbed Phoenix's hand and pulled her. "Come on!" I screamed. We both ran through the weedy forest as fast we could. Soon we found our way out and into a large tall grass field. Bees buzzed and butterflies fluttered. It...was so peaceful..
We climbed a small hill, breathless from running, and laid on the grass, catching our breath. A few deer grazed in the tall grass while a few...
Pegasus's?
Yeah Pegasus's drank from a nearby pound. "Whoa....." Phoenix breathed. "I have to dreaming..!" I laughed. I stood, looking around. I grabbed Phoenix's hand and pulled her up next to me. We stared breathless at all that was around us. Suddenly the deer took off, as we spotted a orange and black stripped tail moving back in fourth above the brush. "What is that?" I asked, thinking it was a tiger. Phoenix took a small round, telescope like object from her pocket and looked into it. "Zooming in...um...I can't really identify it...orange tale with few black stripes...kinda looks like a tiger tale?" Phoenix stated. We heard a low growl just as a tiger jumped out of the tall grass! He transformed into a panther in the air and pounced on one the Pegasus's! "RUN!" We both whispered to each other. I jumped onto one of the other Pegasus's, and pulled Phoenix up. "WHOA!!" We both shouted as the Pegasus took off into the air!! I held tightly to the Pegasus's mane and Phoenix held tightly to me. I glanced back and saw Phoenix with her eyes shut as she gripped my shirt tight. "Are you ok?" I shouted above the wind. "Can't...say...I...am...a...fan...of...heights!!" Phoenix Replied, keeping her eyes shut. Yeah I couldn't say I was a big fan either...
I looked down and cringed.
I wondered if talking about data and information would help Phoenix relax?
I helped me..
But I was told by the kids at my old school that I was just weird..
Sigh. My sister never knew what I went through in school...deeply..I felt like she kinda thought what the other kids though too..
I pushed back the memories.
"Information on Vatex so far?" I asked, glancing back at Phoenix. "Well...so far...our friends have gone missing on it. It's an Earth like planet." She slowly opened her eyes "Animals are different, some the same, some shape-shifters." She sat up more strait, and loosened her death grip on me a little "And I think this is the first Pegasus any human as ever ridden in real life!" Phoenix laughed, smiling a little.

I turned to see a pterodactyl heading towards us! It's mouth opened revealing very...very large teeth! "One more thing to add to the list of data on Vatex!!" I shouted eyes wide. "What now?!?" Phoenix yelled. "We've entered Jurassic time!!" I yelled. I clung to the Pegasus for my life as Phoenix clung to me for the same. We both yelled out as the Pegasus swirled around trying to avoid the pterodactyls teeth. I grabbed Phoenix's hand as she lost her grip on me and fell off the Pegasus. She dangled in the air, hanging on to my hand. "Fonix!!!!!" She screamed, closing her eyes. I quickly pulled her back up just before the pterodactyl tried to snap his jaws around her. Phoenix clung tight to me again. We breathed heavily. The Pegasus was coming up over a lake. "We have to jump!!" I yelled to Phoenix. "What are you crazy?!" Phoenix screamed her eyes still closed. "Do you trust me?" I shouted. Phoenix opened her green eyes and stared into my hazel ones. She nodded. I let go of the Pegasus's mane, and rapped my arms around Phoenix as we fell of the horse and through the air. We both screamed, but then stopped to hold our breath as we plunged deep into water....
