I smiled as I saw a shooting star flash across the sky. Sadly, I didn't have a dream to seek out tonight. Everything was perfect right now; nothing could ruin my happiness. The moon was out full and bright almost giving me a clear view of the forest in front of me.
Some might think it's dangerous but for some reason, the woods give me the comfort I've never experienced before. It was like a safe haven of mine to just come out here and look out into the peacefulness of nature.
A rustling in a bush nearby broke me out of my daydream. It's just a rabbit or squirrel, I thought. I ignored the noise until it happened again. This time, I also heard the snapping of leaves and twigs. I froze in fright as two objects appeared behind the bushes and came toward me. They were dark and obviously walked on four legs. The thing that struck me the most were the red eyes the animals possessed. I had never seen such a thing in my life and for once I was truly scared of the place I've come to the love so much.
I couldn't scream, run. Nothing. All I did was sit there stunned to death. At that moment, I didn't know what to do. I knew death would come no matter what I did. They would chase me if I ran. They can attack me if I just sit here. It's a lose-lose situation for me.
I waited a while, trying to see if they would go away but they didn't. They just stood there with their piercing red eyes. I believed they weren't going to do anything to me so I felt I could at least try to get away. Slowly, I got up from my spot on the rock I was sitting on. As soon as one foot touched the ground, I screeched as I felt sharp teeth bite and pull me onto the forest floor.
I screamed as the animal appeared above me, ready to kill me. Before it had a chance to bite me again, the force was pushed off of me. I opened my eyes only to see another animal, that looked like a wolf, attacking the red-eyed beasts. Blood splattered everywhere but I couldn't tell where it came from. Me, the beasts, or the wolf.
The noise of the fight died down and all went quiet. I searched around but saw nothing but a lump of fur on the ground. The wolf, it's dead. I cried in my spot silently thanking it for try to save me. The sound of twigs snapping and leaves crunching came from behind me making me freeze. ]
Before I could even turn around, a scream erupted from my lips as I was bitten once again. I knew this time I was going to die.

"Doctor, we need to sedate her again!" I heard a high pitched voice say as I woke up from my nightmare.
I sobbed as I vividly remembered that night, not that I could ever forget it. It was sewed into my mind forever.
The doctor strolled towards me with a syringe in his hand, ready to shoot the drugs inside me like they do almost every night. I try to push him back but the guards grab my arms and strap me to the bed. More sobs rack my body as I feel the needle go into my arm.
Within seconds, I feel the drugs calm me down so much that I can barely keep my eyes open. I see the doctor look at me with such pity in his eyes but I know it's all bullshit. All of them are nothing but shit. They don't care.
I don't deserve this. I don't belong here, where my last thoughts as sleep overcame me.
