Blossoming Friendships

Everyone introduced themselves and Jimin sat there awkwardly, fidgeting with whatever he had in his hands. They all asked for his phone so they could add him as a contact and be there for him whenever he needed help.
Jungkook sat there, impressed while sipping his wine. He was glad that they easily introduced themselves and was added to Jimin's contact list.
Jimin was a bit shy at first, but he slowly opened up throughout the night. He mixed up their names at first but slowly remembered as the night went on. By the time they were finished introducing themselves and asking each other questions, they were all chatting as if they were old friends.
The night flew by quickly. Soon everyone's glass of wine was empty and it was 1AM in the morning. When Jimin worried about how he'd get to school on time the next day, Jungkook simply offered to call the principal, saying that Jimin was sick and needed a day off.
Jimin quietly thanked him and scurried off with the other members. He thought they were taking him back to his dorm so he fell asleep peacefully in the limousine.
The next day he found himself in a luxurious bed with a minor headache from the alcohol from the night before. One of the maids in the house brought him some painkillers and breakfast.
Jimin was so shocked at them serving him that he couldn't even speak. When he turned around to see the clock on the nightstand he almost screamed. It was 10:38! He was almost 3 hours late for school!
He gulped down his food and painkillers as fast as he could and managed to not choke on his food. After finishing his food, he got dressed and was in a hurry.... until he realized that his backpack and everything was still at his dorm.
Jimin sighed as he walked down the stairs while admiring the luxurious house. He never imagined he'd ever step in one of these places at all. He almost forgot that he was late to school. Almost.
He decided to just make up some excuse to why he didn't go while he explored the mansion. Everywhere he went amazed him he smiled as he went through every room. Even the washrooms looked amazing! Just how rich was the owner of this house?
While exploring the mansion, he found a room with a door closed, which was odd since all of the doors were open and welcome to visitors. He tried opening the door before realizing it was locked. He heard someone getting up to unlock the door so he decided to walk away as fast as he could in his slippers. He tried not to run because it'd be disrespectful to the maids and the owner of this amazing mansion. Plus he was afraid he would knock something over and have to waste his entire life trying to pay for it.
Before he had gone far, the door had opened and the person inside the room looked around. He thought he had escaped before someone had sneakily backhugged him, making him yelp in surprise.
When he turned around, he saw Jungkook with his bunny smile and tried to hide his laughter along with the other 5 men. The one who's laugh sounded like windshields was Jin. Jimin remembered because of Jin's funny laugh.
Although he found Jin's laugh funny, he couldn't bring himself to laugh because of the butterflies in his stomach. He could feel his face turn beet red and tried to hide his face.
Seeing this, another member who was normally cold and quiet started laughing at him along with everyone else. He remembered that his name was Yoongi and his friends all said he had a gummy smile. He didn't quite believe them at first but now that he's seen it himself, he fully believes him.
This Jungkook is nothing like the Jungkook he knew in highschool. Not the one that flirted with every girl who liked him and played with them later that night. Yes, he was a player and Jimin fell for him regardless.
This side of Jungkook was so different from the sexy badass he was used to. As Jimin stared at him, a member named Taehyung pointed it out and started teasing him. Soon everyone was and he could feel the heat going back into his face.
A week passed and his relationship with everyone grew stronger. Namjoon, the tallest of the bunch was very smart and often helped Jimin with his homework and explained every little thing Jimin didn't understand with great detail. Namjoon eventually revealed that he had an IQ of 148 and did all the thinking and planning.
Hoseok and Jin were the ones who made Jimin laugh regardless of what his mood was. Jin's windshield wiper laugh and his dad jokes were a deadly combo along with Hoseok's sound effects.
Yoongi was the one who often listened to whatever rants Jimin wanted to let out and gave him advice on tons of stuff he did. For example, he told Jimin he shouldn't procrastinate because cramming everything at the last minute is too stressful mentally. Jimin tried to do what Yoongi said although it often didn't work very well.
Taehyung was the one that bonded with him straight away. It was as if they were meant to be friends. They had interests in the same things and watched the same shows. They gossiped about the same celebrities together, something Jimin couldn't do with anyone else.
    As for his relationship with Jungkook, it hasn't changed very much. He hasn't opened up to Jungkook ever since he confessed to him in highschool and a rumor was spread throughout the entire school. Everyone thought of him as a freak and many lunches were spent eating on a toilet alone in the washroom.
    He assumed that Jungkook was the one who spread that rumor about him which made his life miserable. He wasn't severely bullied but people tend to avoid him and whisper things behind his back. He could never forgive Jungkook because of this.
