Hoseok's Past

    As Jimin settled in with Taehyung, they got new company from another person. Hoseok was back, and wasn't able to fight due to dislocating his left shoulder. Instead, he came back to become the main jokester and spend time with Jimin while his shoulder went back to it's original place.
    "Hoseok! It's been a while, hasn't it? Welcome back! I heard you dislocated your shoulder. I sure wonder how you managed to do that." Jimin teased jokingly, making Hoseok roll his eyes and glare at him.
    Taehyung seemed to enjoy seeing Jimin tremble when Hoseok seemed to be mad from his teasing. Taehyung secretly giggled and went back to eating his healthy foods that he was required to eat. Since he wasn't allowed to eat any junk food, he ate fruit when Jimin was in the mood to prepare some for the two of them.
Hoseok sluggishly walked back into the guest room upstairs, not bothering to take a shower and wash himself up before landing face first onto the pillow. He let out a sigh of content and fell asleep, snoring, not noticing that Taehyung and Jimin were outside the guest room door filming him.
Taehyung had stopped using the wheelchair since he had worked so hard to get his legs working again. He still wasn't allowed to eat junk food because his body was still underweight and couldn't take anything that wasn't filled with nutrients. It was recommended that he took protein supplements in an attempt to gain back the weight he lost while he was in a coma.
He was very sad to find out that every single muscle in his body that he worked day and night to build and make strong had gone back to becoming a soft muscle. He wanted to get his old body back, but he knew that the doctor would never allow him to work out in his shape.
Instead, he focused on spending time with Jimin as he went down the road of recovery. He mostly spent his time watching different TV shows with Jimin while eating apple slices. He would much rather eat a tub of ice cream, but Jimin had put special passwords on the freezer which Taehyung didn't know the password to, preventing him from getting his sugary, cold goods.
They filmed a 5-minute video of Hoseok snoring. They did their best to hide their giggles and to not break out laughing. Hoseok wasn't a heavy sleeper, so one wrong move could end up with Hoseok beating them with his one good arm. The thought of it sent shivers down their spine.
Hoseok didn't wake up until the next day which led to a lot of teasing and glaring that morning. Hoseok was obviously not in the mood for jokes, but being the cheerful guy he is, Jimin still kept on teasing him until Hoseok came out of his shell and started joking around with him.
Hoseok ended up watching the TV shows with them, although he didn't seem very interested in it. He still payed attention to the scenes and often mimicked the characters when they said something that he found funny. He added a lot of sound effects when mimicking the character, causing Taehyung to roll over in laughter.
They soon had a feast to welcome back Hoseok since they weren't able to the day before since Hoseok fell asleep so fast. They gobbled down their food and talked to each other. Jimin informed Hoseok about everything he and Jungkook had gone through while he was fighting in the war.
Instead of continuing their TV shows, they continued to talk about each other in the living room. Jimin had prepared some sliced apples for them to munch on while they talked. The list of things they talked about seemed endless, and it kept going on and on.
    In the middle of their happy evening, Jimin asked Hoseok the same sensitive question he asked Taehyung and Yoongi. It made everyone go quiet, mainly Hoseok. It seemed as if he was thinking about telling Jimin or if he wanted to save it for later.
"I don't really mind if you're not ready to tell anyone just yet, but I'd like to know what your past is like. You don't even have to go into detail, a quick explaination is fine." Jimin reassured, earning a jab in the rib from Taehyung.
"He hasn't even told anyone else in the gang other than Jungkook. If he's gonna tell us, he's going to tell us when we're all gathered together again. It wouldn't be fair to leave the rest of the gang out." Taehyung exclaimed angrily, shooting Jimin with a glare.
"Taehyung, it's fine. I don't mind explaining to the rest of the gang sometime later. I mean, you can always brag about earning the explaination first." Hoseok said with a smile.
"Alright, as long as you're fine with it. If it becomes too much for you to talk about, just stop. We can always continue it later if you can't take it." Taehyung comforted, feeling that Hoseok was uncomfortable with talking about his past.
    "I guess I'll start now. Something similar to Yoongi's ex-girlfriend had happened to my mom, except she didn't commit suicide. Instead, she fell into depression which eventually led to her sanity being slowly ripped away from her." Hoseok mumbled, sucking in a breath of air to try and stop his tears.
    "I can't believe this type of stuff happens so much to innocent people. You'd think fully grown men going to college would have a bit more self control." Jimin fumed not-so-quietly, making Taehyung and Hoseok crack up.
    "According to my aunt, my mom was the definition of a sunshine before the incident. Afterwards, her personality took a 180. She started self-harming herself without knowing it, causing my grandparents to tie her up. They tied her arms behind her back in order to prevent her from harming herself and tied her legs together so she couldn't run away." Hoseok choked.
    "I can't believe your grandparents went that far to stop her. Was her condition really that bad?" Jimin asked, his eyes filled with concern for Hoseok.
    "Well if his grandparents really had to go that far, then what do you think? They obviously wouldn't do that if her condition wasn't severe." Taehyung pointed out.
    "Yeah, that's how severe her condition was. They eventually sent her to an asylum so she had a place to stay. They had enough of her and wouldn't bother taking care of her anymore. At the asylum, they found out she was pregnant with me which prevented them from giving her the pills necessary for treatment." Hoseok explained.
    "How did they find out she was pregnant? Was it because of the belly or did they take a pregnancy test?" Jimin asked curiously.
    "Don't ask unimportant questions like that, just let the man tell his story. Don't interrupt him any further." Taehyung groaned.
    "It's fine. They noticed from the belly. For the next few months they checked on her frequently in case I had some kind of problem in her womb. Luckily I didn't and they started giving her the treatment once I decided to get out of her body." Hoseok said.
    "Pfft. I'm sorry but I couldn't help but laugh when you said that last sentence. I'm the one who'll interrupt you and try to lighten up the mood, don't mind me." Jimin said, smiling.
    "Thanks, we really needed someone to lighten it up. Let's continue, shall we? Since she clearly wasn't mentally stable enough to take care of me, one of the doctors trying to help her took me in. She treated me kind enough but didn't give me the attention that children needed, which made me hot-tempered and irritable. Jungkook was the one who changed me into the person I am now." Hoseok continued, smiling when thinking about what Jungkook did for him.
    "Um, so what exactly did Jungkook do?" Jimin asked, acting dumb on purpose to annoy Taehyung, making him send a glare at him for a split second.
    "If you stop interrupting him, he'll get to it soon. Just be patient. You'll find out soon enough." Taehyung groaned for the second time that night.
    "The two of you are interrupting me by starting an argument like this, now shut up and let me continue." Hoseok said, pausing for a moment before continuing again once everyone was silent.
    "As I was saying, I became hot-tempered which meant no one wanted to become my friend in kindergarden, which made my attitude worse. I became somewhat of a bully until my senior year of primary school, when I bumped into Jungkook. He stood up for the people I repeatedly teased and taught me what was right. Soon afterwards, my mother escaped the asylum somehow and wrote the words 'LET'S PLAY A GAME' in big bold letters. You know what she used to write those letters? Blood. The doctor kicked me out, thinking that I'll eventually use his blood as ink to write my homework." Hoseok sighed, facepalming.
    "I guess you can say, Hoseok's mom snapped. Sorry, my bad." Jimin joked, apologizing once he realized how bad the joke was.
    "Anyways, I ended up being adopted by Jungkook's parents. By that time the family had adopted Yoongi and Jin, who were the two oldest of the group. I warmed up to Jin right away, but Yoongi found me a bit annoying at first, so we didn't get close until high school." Hoseok said, smiling from the memories he made with them.
    "And I'm guessing that as the years passed, more members of the gang were adopted by Jungkook's family? Then you guys live happily ever after for a few years?" Jimin asked jokingly.
    "Yeah, thats about it. Although when Jungkook entered high school, he always talked about this friend he made who he thought was the cutest person he's ever met. He always came home late and claimed that he was at that person's house. He stopped going to that person's house suddenly, yet he still talked about him. I'm guessing that the person was you, Jimin." Hoseok teased, having Taehyung join in, making Jimin flustered.
    The rest of the night was filled with the three boys teasing each other. Hoseok secretly revealed secrets that Jungkook had to Jimin. He knew that if Jungkook found out, he would surely kill him but that didn't stop him from spilling the secrets. They eventually got tired and went upstairs to sleep, waving goodbye to each other as the walked back to their room.

I know I said that I'm never writing a chapter this long again, but I broke that promise I made to myself. I'm not gonna promise anything this time because I'm gonna jinx myself for sure >.<
