Here are two ideas I thought of while daydreaming (I'm a weirdo, I know):
This whole life- your whole life- is unreal. You actually live on the other side of the universe in a (to us) distorted dimension. You are injured in a horrible accident, and go into a coma. Your friends and family are terribly worried. They think you're in pain, but in reality, you are living a life on Earth, taking over the body of a "regular" human. You haven't awoken for the exact amount of time you have been 'alive' on Earth from your coma. The only portal of knowledge you have about them is your dreams. The "distorted dimension" is shown to you every night in your dreams- but you don't realize it because dreams are fake, not real, they appear in your head. Or so you think. But they're real. They're your REAL life, the life you were supposed to live. But you can't remember all of the pieces to the puzzle, and a lot of the time you forget what you have seen from your other life when you 'wake up'. It's a side effect of the coma.
(These are very complicated, they probably won't make sense. Unless you want your brain to hurt, skip this chapter.)
#2:
Most girls are self- conscious, and most girls wish they could change just one thing (at least) about themselves. It's true, and you know it. But what if.... What if....
What if our wish had already been granted.
What if you had already lived your life up to this point in time, but you were, lets say, very sick, ugly, and depressed. You had cancer, your ears were the size of an elephant (so it seemed), your nose was way tinier than normal, you barely even had lips. Your hair would only stay in an Afro. Your face was covered in zits, warts, and premature wrinkles. And that's all you could think about.
But then one day, you were visited by a genie. He had had compassion on you, and you were going to be granted 3 wishes. You wished to be healthy, to have at least decent skin, and for your hair and ears to her smaller (or thinner, or flatter). The only catch in what the genie offered was that you wouldn't remember this. Not at all. You would have to start your life all over.
And now this is how you are- yet you are still ungrateful and unhappy with how you look.
If only you could feel the happiness your former self felt when she found out she could be you.
That would be kinda crazy :)
