We were in our human forms ready to attack whoever came our way, well Derek's way because at this moment I'm behind him in a protective stance.
But he should know that I take no for an answer and my wolf was craving the violence.
My thoughts got interrupted when the door got slammed down. We were face to face with a red headed girl around my age.
"This should be easy" she smirked.
'I got this one Derek' I mind linked him, then blocked him out with out leaving him to a response.
He growled loudly.
"Change" she stated with her arms crossed.
I smirked in response, stepped forward and changed into my white wolf with my aquarian eyes.
When I did her eyes bulged out like saucers. She looked confused. Her eyes raked over my wolf form which felt pretty awkward.
I looked down and suddenly caught my breath. I was no longer a white wolf but a royal gold one.
Does this have anything to do with what Ray said?
DEREK'S POV:
'How did the MDT pack get in our territory!?' I mind linked my beta.
'I don't know how but I'm going to find out Alpha'
I didn't even bother replying afterwards but paid attention to Taylor's new wolf admiring it calming all of my anger towards the pack.
But once taylor had changed, something different erupted inside me.
I don't know how she had gotten this new wolf but I'm going to find out after this whole thing gets cleared.
I noticed how one of the MDT pack members looked at Taylor's wolf with amazement, shock and intimidation.
I guess she knew what kind of wolf Taylor was.
Centuries ago I've read about Golden Wolves. At that time there were only two alive. To have one till this day is very fucking rare. Golden Wolves are very powerful.
To lead and fight is their natural instinct which I've noticed in Taylor in my years of knowing her. If you haven't had any training and you're a Golden wolf it comes naturally to you as if you have been doing it for centuries. To others it'll seem like you're a highly professional ninja out in war.
Not only did it make me worry about her safety but it also made me a proud mate knowing she'd fight for the right reasons and that's both a good and bad trait for an upcoming Luna like my Taylor.
Another thing about Golden Wolves is that they can transport to wherever their mind desires. This can be very effective and slick in battles.
They can also control the earths elements. If they wanted to create a water barrier over you and cause it to slam right on you they could. They can use wind to make yourself fly out their way and you get the point. I think there's more but that's all I can muster.
A loud whimper makes me snap back to reality.
Surprise.
The pack member from the other pack is now bowing to Taylor's wolf and flees out of our room.
'They've just fled Alpha Derek' my third mind links me.
'They just up and left?'
'Yes'
'Hows the pack due to the surprise attack?'
'Some are mildly injured but nothing serious'
'Thanks'
'No problem man'
I look back and see that Taylor changed back into human form with her clothes still on.
Guess that's another one of her powers.
"What happened to my white wolf?" She asked slightly confused about that pack member I guess.
"Does this have to do with what that rapist was talking about that night in the woods?" I asked her.
She gave me a pointed look and I just shot my hands up in defense and walked to my door.
Sighing I said. "I'm gonna find out"
"We're gonna find out" she corrected, walking towards me.
I chuckled, grabbed her forearm and kissed her passionately. Her soft full lips against mine in synchronization. A groan comes out of my lips when she holds my slightly aroused dick in her small palms and bites my lip. In a minute she winks and walks off leaving an angry mate behind her.
I growled loudly but followed afterwards to check up on my pack.
After checking up on the pack and guards we end up going to my office which has all of the information about the rare kind of the golden wolves.
Once we get there I go into the left side of my office which has all the untouched books filled with rules, legends, and etc.
The Rare Ones
I open the book and scan through to see if anything important shows up.
"Derek" Taylor calls out besides me.
"Yeah" I mutter scanning the last of the pages which are just blank.
"Look here" she points to the center of the blank page.
"Taylor?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't see anything" I tell her, looking down to see if anything just magically reappears.
"Hmm" she mutters. She grabs the book and sets it down on my desk while sitting in my chair afterwards.
She looks sexy sitting in my chair. I feel a slight tightness in my jeans. I look down and cough as if it'll do anything to bring it down.
"You alright?" She asks glancing up from the book.
"Um, yeah" I cough again to hide my awkwardness and walk to the chair across from her setting my hands on top of my crotch trying to hide it.
"It says here 'The wolves with fur as royal as gold is to be the ones who will have to join together in an upcoming event that will either make or break you. All is on you three to make it right."
She looks up at me nervously.
"What does this mean?" She asks. Although I knew she knew the answer, I answered anyway.
"Something big is coming our way"
