Chapter 16

It's been two days since I've figured out about my new wolf. Since then I've decided to let the pack members and the pack members only, know about myself being one of the three Golden Wolves. We've been searching book after book for anymore information about my rare kind and only some have become useful.

Today is the day that Derek pronounces me as his Luna to the entire pack properly and officially. The other time he did it on my 19th birthday but he thought it lacked enthusiasm and I just punched him in the chest in response for how stupid that sounded.

"Taylor are you ready to see what your fabulous best friend completed?!" Kyara sang beside me.

I laughed and nodded my head.

She removed her hands from my eyes and I took in my appearance.

I smiled widely and blushed.

I looked classy but cute all the same.

"You did very well Kyara" I said formally with an English accent.

"We'll I'm very glad Mrs. Rivera" she said with her lame excuse of an English accent, playing along with me.

I hit her arm playfully and laughed.

"We're not married. "

"Yet" she winked. "Now go, he's waiting for you."

I smiled and gave her a huge hug. I love my best friend.

"Aw, I love you too" she cooed in my ear.

I slapped her butt and went out the door laughing when Kyara shouted "Use protection, I'm too young to become an aunt!"

Ray's POV

"Ray you know what you have to do. Look out for my daughter." Alpha eyed me carefully.

I nodded in conformation and headed out.

It's been a couple days since I've seen her start the change. I've decided to keep it between the Alpha and I.

I left the pack house and headed out to Derek's.

I masked my scent and went in.

I smelled the most amazing scent.

My wolf was going crazy and so was I.

I traced it and ended up getting greeted by Taylor.

"Hey Ray." She smiled widely.

She has a beautiful smile.

I shook my head and replied.

"Hey I actually need to talk to you. It's important."

She was about to respond when someone tapped the microphone.

"Attention everybody, we are gathered here today to present to you the Luna of this pack, mate of Alpha Derek and daughter of Alpha Caine; May he rest in peace with the moon goddesses." If they only knew that he was still alive.

The moment of silence was done and Derek went up.

"Taylor come here baby." He spoke proudly.

She excused herself and gave me a sorry look.

I nodded and ushered her forward.

Derek noticed this and I didn't miss the glare he gave me before Taylor stood in front of him.

I chuckled to myself and got a few looks from the pack members.

"Alright Taylor, you know I love you with all my heart. We're best friends, we've been there for each other since we were little Cubs and I couldn't be happier."
