"Stephan?" I half ask, hoping I got the man that gave me his number through his little sister annoying me at the bus stop, right.

"Yeah, how you been?" He asks with a friendly smile, his brown eyes with a hint of green sparkling.

"I've been... Okay" I say looking around, slightly awkward.

"I wouldn't know because you haven't called" He raises his eyebrows and sarcastically shakes his head, gently knocking my elbow with his.

"Oh.. Yeah sorry about that, it's just I've been so busy, searching for jobs and that" I say with a friendly tone, trying to make him not feel humiliated. 'Oh yeah, and I kind of fell in love with my friends, boyfriend, so not interested' I am tempted to say but decide against it.

Stephan softly tugs at my arm, pulling me close to the window of the clothing shop, getting me out the way of busy shoppers.

"Any success?" He asks as I notice his pointy teeth beside his two main front teeth.

I lightly chuckle in my head as he looks like he has small fangs like a vampire.

"Well, I got a job in the hairdressers but I ruined the trial, so that fuck me up" I roll my eyes and grind my teeth together.

He crosses his arms over his chest and lets out a light chuckle.

"Well, if you are looking for a job, my family own a small business that I am the manager off?" He tilts his head and asks with a questioning tone, scratching his chesnut brown, short hair.

"Maybe! What kind of business?" I ask with a slight smile on my face. I bring my fingers to my lips and begin to chew on my nails.

"Don't laugh... 'Tinsel City' it's called. It's a milk-shake place but also includes a food menu" He laughs and sarcastically raises his hands and shakes them in the air to symbolise 'ta-dah!'.

I place my hand over my mouth and let out a roar of laughter because of the contrast between a dench, muscly hunk like Stephan, working in a cafè called 'Tinsel City' selling sweet treats.

"I said don't laugh!" Stephan laughs along and pretends to act shy by throwing his hand in the air and fluttering his eyelashes.

"Any chance I could get a trial?" I ask with a sweet smile on my face, tilting my head.

"More than a chance, come on, it's two minutes away from here" He gently grabs my arm and leads me to start walking.

As we walk down the busy, shop filled road, we make small talk about 'Tinsel City', Stephan tells me that his parents opened it up when he was a kid, then decided to let Stephan take over when they moved back over to New Jersey.

It was easy to spot when we were there, the glass windows and doors were covered in pink and green writing. The same theme following inside when I entered. I gasped at the design of the traditionally american dinner, but in the pink and green version.

The round tables and leather seats were all shinning, sorounding the counter filled with menu's and the large cash machine set in the middle. Behind the counter was various chocolate bars in big containers and around five liquidisers, obviously for the milkshakes. A friendly, pretty, mixed race girl glanced at us and gave us a friendly smile, soon turning back to the customer at the table, having a pen and notebook in her hand.

"That's Bonnie, nicest girl you'll ever meet" He gestures towards her.

I give her a friendly smile and a quick wave.

"Right let's show you the ropes" He says, rubbing his hands together like sandpaper.

He spent atleast two hours, showing me how to make the milk shakes, present the food and taking an order, also how to work the cash machine and promising me that I'd only have to ice the cupcakes because the chef was too busy preparing and cooking the snacks, mainly burgers and cheesy chips.

Just as I begin to ice the sweet smelling cupcakes in the kitchen, my phone begins to ring in my pocket.

I quickly lick off the excess squirts of iceing on my finger tips and slide my phone to answer.

"Hi-"

"Natalie, where the hell are you?" Harry speaks with a firm, quite high raised tone.

"I'm at tinsel city-"

"Oh, nice! I've been looking around for you, trying to find you to give you the proof for your boss as to why you were late to just find out you're sitting in a milkshake bar-"

"Harry!" I cut him off equally.

"The boss in the hairdressers turned me down on the trial so I'm at a trial for tinsel city" I speak, equally frustrated. I know he's under a lot of stress but he can't have a go at me for no reason.

"You could had told me Natalie" He says, flatly.

"I didn't know it was a big deal, plus I thought you weren't in the mood seeing as you ran off on me and Niall today" I say placing the phone between my shoulder and ear, going back to icing the cakes.

"oh for god sake" I hear him mutter quietly. "Alright, I'll see you later" He continue's with his flat tone and hangs up, not giving me a chance to reply.

I frown and return to my job.
