Sorry guys! I'm afraid that, for now, Male!Timelord!Reader in RWBY has been cancelled, which you probably all gathered from the extremely long wait since the last chapter. Whilst I do find the idea of a time traveller reader a fun concept to toy around with, the need to tie in the story to the Doctor Who canon, whilst also trying to fit it together into the RWBY canon, puts a severe cap on where I'm exactly allowed to go with the story.
Along with the issues of aura and fighting (which doesn't translate well into Doctor Who's themes), it'd also tie down the story to a pretty easily predicted path, since it would pretty inevitably lead to "the big reveal that *gasp* Y/N was an alien!" and the eventual "big sacrifice that triggers regeneration", which would've been messy and hard to make good for someone of my limited skill.
As such, I'm planning on trying to make a separate time travelling reader fic, which will be made purely from my own imagination to fit in with RWBY more naturally than trying to explain how magic exists, how exactly you even got out of Gallifrey, and of course how to avoid you getting dissected by curious scientists.
