Chapter 7
The Johnson's:The Not So Perfect Family

Winter seeded with anger is having to pretend that nothing is going on. As her husband enters the hospital. All he wants to do is kill him. Winter couldn't even stand the thought of him. Just couldn't keep the painful thoughts out her mind. James acts like nothing is wrong.

"Are you ready to go home?" James asked Winter.

"Yes." Winter tried to sound normal. Well as normal as she could get it.

Winter need to go home. She was at the hospital for two days. Making sure that everything went okay with Rose. She didn't sleep at all. She was tired. That didn't matter to her. Her focus was making sure that Rose was getting the treatment she needed. Winter wasn't trying to leave without Stacey knowing. Stacey appears around the corner.

"Hey, Stacey. I'm going home." They locked eyes with each other. Winter already told Stacey of anything was to happen that James did it to her.

This was Stacey and James first time seeing each other face to face in years. Stacey felt like that thirteen year old girl all over again. Then she thought about Rose. Her mind shifted over. She was no longer afraid of her brother.

James looked at Stacey. He couldn't believe it was her. He haven't seen his twin sister in years. A part of him was angry. Cause he didn't know what Stacey had told Winter. James didn't want that to come out. Then a part of him was relieved to see her. James was comfortable with the thought that she had ran away and something happened to her. Bottom line is James knows that Stacey has it out for him.

"James. Long time no see." Stacey voice was firm.

James got aroused by the sound of her voice. He almost forgot what it sounded like. Even though he was used to hearing it yelling in pain. "Hello Stacey. It has been years." His smile was creepy. Scary looking. It almost scared Stacey.

"Perhaps so. I see that your family is beautiful. Beautiful daughters." Stacey said.

"Yeah, my family is pretty decent. I love them very much." His tone of voice changed.

"James, that's good to hear. I wonder why we are sitting in a hospital?" Stacey stares into her brother's eyes. Eyes black. Like looking into the devil's eyes. Just evil for no reason.

"This is my family Stacey. Stay out of it. I mean it. Stay away." James threaten Stacey.

Stacey wasn't scared nor bothered by James. "It's like you are repeating history all over again James. Just like daddy." Stacey voice cracked. Her mind flashed back to those dark memories.

"I'm nothing like my father." James is now exceeding with anger.

"You're right. You're worse than him." Stacey stepped up to James. She gave him a hug and whispered in his ear. "You won't destroy that girl. I'm going to stop you." Stacey said.

James held her tighter and brought her closer. "You are going to have to kill me first." James responded.

They parted ways. Stacey knew Winter was about to catch hell. That was something she couldn't worry about. Stacey had went home to her family. She would go check on Rose some other time. She was scared for them girls. Now she even had fear for Winter. Stacey didn't know what to do help them.

Winter and James drive quietly. Winter blood is boiling. She is angry she can barely keep the words from spilling out. She managed to make it to the house without saying a peep. Entering the house Winter felt like an outcast. Everything is so perfect and normal when she is at home. Then when she isn't there is a hell house. Winter just wanted to burn the whole house down.

Winter couldn't keep being quiet. "James what the hell is going on?" She broke the silence.

"Just shut the hell up and follow along. Everything will be just fine." James lights up a cigarette.

This made Winter explode. "James you're raping our daughters. You sick piece of shit. You think that I'm going to let you get away with this you are sadly mistaken."

James laughed at Winter. "Who do you think they are going to believe? The Wife of police officer who doesn't even know if her information is correct? Or the Sergeant of the South Bend Police Department who is so good in the public eye?"

Winter looked at her husband. He was a monster. This wasn't the James that she had fell in love with. There wasn't anything that she wanted more than to kill him. Winter didn't care. She definitely wasn't afraid. "I'm filling for divorce. The kids leave with me." Winter never felt so strong on something in her life.

"I'll kill you bitch. Try it if you want too. This isn't a game." James stood over Winter.

Winter felt no fear. "Then you'll have to kill me James. We are leaving you today."

Before James could respond it was a knock on the door. It was the police department and CPS. They needed to go to the hospital immediately. Rose had slipped into coma.
