| Chapter 1 | For the first time |

Amelia's pov
(We are starting in preschool)
"Goodbye Amelia." Were the only words i could remember before entering my school
My mom had bid me farewell after she had dropped me off to my preschool
I had trouble finding my class but soon found it with the help of a nearby teacher.
I quickly scanned the area and followed the teacher's instructions.
I kept repeating the words
"1-A". "1-A". "1-A"
"Ah! Found it" i said as i walked into my classroom.
Everyone was playing all over the class as our teacher sat on her desk waiting for the bell to ring

There were toys everywhere as children picked them up and played.
I went over to the mattress everyone was sitting on and quickly made some new friends.
I failed to make friends with everybody before the bell rang as i had left 1 boy with dark blue hair sitting alone playing by himself with some dinosaur figures.

The bell had rang and we were told to be seated. The seats were in pairs so all of us would have a seat-mate.
As the teachers were assigning the seats i waited patiently in my line.
"Amelia and Daniel, in the front" said one of our teachers.
I was only paying attention to my name and was completely clueless on who "Daniel" is.
Since i had made friends with everybody in this class i should know all of their names already.
Then i remembered that boy who i have yet to befriend.
I went up to my seat and placed my backpack on the side.

I was right, Daniel was the blue haired boy.
I quickly introduced myself to Daniel while waiting for our teachers to finish assigning the seats of the rest of the class.

"Hi my name's Amelia, What's yours?" I said.

"M-my name's D-daniel." Said the blue haired boy.

"(So he's shy huh)."i thought to myself.

"Wanna be friends?" I said excitedly.

"If that's okay with you....." he said.
He kept on blinking, i don't know why...
Was it a sign? But then the teacher spoke up.

"Alright kids, now that we have assigned seats lets combine our seats to make one BIGGGGG square" The teacher said.

Making us all excited, we all pushed our tables together forming a big square.
We were learning about shapes and colors, some people were pretty into it and i was one of them.
The teacher then gave us some paper to draw on the shapes we had just learned.
The teacher then proceeded to hand out color pencils to students.

"Remember to share with your partner." Said one of the teachers.

"Oh wait i forgot," continued the teacher "your seat-mate is now your partner for the rest of the year." She said

I forgot to introduce the teachers omg.
(There are 2 teachers , Ms. Julie and Ms. Dorothy.)

I gave Daniel some color pencils and started on my awesome circle!
(Lol preschool vibes)
It didn't look too bad so i was kinda proud of myself.
When i looked to my right i saw Daniel's better circle!!

"Woah you're really good at drawing a circle!" I said excitingly.

"E-eh?! It's just a circle, it's nothing big." Danile responded.

"But look at mine!" I said pointing at my piece of paper.

"It doesn't look that bad." Daniel said while scanning my drawing.

"Thanks!" I thanked him for complementing my drawing.

Ms. Julie then told us to hand in our drawing.
We formed a line and as we turned in our paper she would write our name on the side,
Since we can't write our names yet.
It was now time to eat.
