Chapter 4: I fell for her so hard

Shay's POV

I came back home on late evening with the biggest smile on my face. I just couldn't get Lauren out of my head but I am still afraid of how to come out with that I am a bi to my mom and brother.

"Hey sweetie, where were you so long without us? And why are you smiling so widely?

"Hello daddy, I accidentally bumped into Lauren when I went on a walk with Cooper and then, she invited me to their house and even showed me her room! I am so happy!"

"I told you that you would meet them today and it came true! How was Lauren?"

"She was very nice and even prettier than in that video you showed me yesterday."

"What if she likes you back, Shay?"

"I don't know, she admitted my blush was cute, started singing a song for me and even called me honey. But I still think she is straight as a pole."

"Who knows what is the truth. We will see it soon, I just wanted you to know I support the fact you also like girls. Let's go to the bed, I bet you are so tired and we will see you tomorrow!"

Next day...

So Lauren and I just exchanged our numbers yesterday because she told me she wanna pick me up from school today. Now, I am having the last lesson, IT and since it is a subject about computers and social sites, I decided to log on my Twitter to see what's new. I saw the notification and almost melted. Lauren just followed me and even sent me a DM. There was written:

"Hey Shay, it's Lauren. How is school, I hope you are doing ok, I just wanna know."

"Hello Laur, yes I am ok, just kinda bored but if you have time as well, can you please write with me longer? It will change my mood to the better!"

"Sure, Shay. Everything to make you feel better! So what subject are you exactly having at the moment?"

"We are having an IT and it's so boring. I just wanna leave and already meet with you."

"Just wait honey, after half hour I will be there! I must go and get dressed up, see ya l8r!"

"Ok, see ya!"

After half hour...

Lauren's POV

As I promised to Shay, I came to pick her on time. I immediately got out of my car and started looking for her. I finally saw her and decided to surprise her. I hid behind her and put my hands on her eyes. 

"Boooo, guess who is here!"

"Lauren, you didn't have to scary me like that!"

"I am sorry, I just wanted to be funny!"

"Well played, Lorenzo!"

"Heey don't call me like that, I hate it!"

"Ok, then Lolo Bean is better?"

"Yes, thank you! Uhm, do you have much homework for tomorrow?"

"No, not really. Why are you asking?"

"Ehh, I was wondering if you wanna hang out and go to a Preds game today?"

"Ayy, it seems like someone is a fan of NHL too. Yes, I would love to!"

"Ok, we are heading out to the Bridgestone arena, lady!"

After an hour...

"Lauren where were you so long, we have been waiting on you like half hour!" Christina yelled at me.
