It was a late afternoon when Jake started to wake up, he rose from his nest and yawned
as he looked out into the tangerine sky. He walked out of his nest and looked for an Aptonoth to
eat for breakfast, instead he found Cera, who was lying on her back with drool dripping from her
mouth. Jake sighed softly and kicked Cera over, waking her up in the process. "What was that
for?!" Cera asked as she rubbed her side, Jake looks down at the smaller reptilian girl "Wake up,
it's nearly nighttime," he said as he sat down. Cera rolls her eyes "Whatever, what are we doing
today? Killing hunters like always?" she said with sarcasm lining her voice, Jake shook his head
"No, instead I thought about walking around Ancient Forest, and maybe even heading out a bit,
just to look around and stuff." Cera nodded and stood up "Well, I'm going with you, just so you
don't get beaten up by another hunter." she snickered as she saw Jake's face turn from calm to
pissed off. Jake roared at her "That was one time Cera!" Cera giggled.
With that they walked around their home, they have already seen a lot of it but sometimes
new monsters would show up to say hi...or to fight them. Jake's nose flared up and he sniffs the
air, "Do you smell that Cera?" he asked, looking down at her. Cera sniffed at the air and shooks
her head "I got nothing, what do you smell Jake?" Jake followed the scent and his eyes widened,
"Cera...there's a new monster here...with the smell of poison..."
