Pokemon Gladion x Reader

22. Shady House Part 3

The raindrops landed heavily on Gladion and Y/N as they followed Rapp outside quietly. He felt a bit suspicious, knowing the troublesome grunts being naive and unpredictable. He turned his head towards the female trainer walking besides him. For some unknown reason he had the will to want  to protect her.

The trainers  stood in front of the Pokemon Center uncertain once they arrived. The building was old with broken windows and the white paint fading off. It was also vandalized with spray paint, which was most definitely fulfill by Team Skull. Rapp however smiled cheerfully and waved her arms towards the building.

"Come on guys!,"  she gestured. "The place might look a bit down, but the doors are still automatic!"  

Gladion and Y/N glanced at each other before Rapp pushes them inside. Confusedly and a bit hesitant  they look around. The place was basically a mess. Boxes, papers and glass were everywhere. The Pokemon Center had everything like a normal one would have but only broken. The PC, the healing section, the Poke Mart and the Cafe...it was all damaged. 

"Really neat...,"  Y/N muttered doubtful. There was a Spinda and a Hypno inside the place which stared weirdly at her. Gladion glared towards Rapp who stood by the doors.

"...You just led us to an abandon Pokemon Center,"  he said irritated.

She laughed and then smirked at him. "That's right! And you fools are about  to stay here even longer!"  She then quickly dashed out of the pokemon center all of a sudden and looked besides her, Tupp and Zipp along with his Garbodor standing there prepared.

"Quickly now! Before they get out!,"  Rapp shouts.

The boys nod and quickly go towards the automatic doors that began to close. Zipp turns to his pokemon and points at  the doors as Tupp looks around in hopes of not  to spot Guzma. "Gunk Shot Garbodor!,"  Zipp commands. Garbodor quickly puts its hands together, a silver light sparkling between them.

"Y/N! Grab my hand!,"  Gladion shouted. He grabbed her hand and ran towards the doors with all his might and speed, luckily making it outside before Team Skull could trap them.

He smiled to his relief and turned back to Y/N, hoping to see her E/C eyes. What he turned to however wasn't her, it was the Spinda from the Pokemon Center. Gladion had been so focused on getting out  that he must have grabbed the pokemon by mistake. 

His eyes widen stunned as the pokemon gave him an awkward smile.

There was a big problem however. Not only has Garbodor's toxic sludge jammed the doors, but  the gas from the Gunk Shot has made contact with the automatic doors electricity. Sparks and natural gas began to surround Y/N and Popplio as they lowered their heads concerned and a bit frighten, still stuck inside the broken Pokemon Center.

The gas, poison and sparks began to get worse. The grunts glanced at each other with a panicked expression on their faces.

"...T-this isn't part of the plan, right?,"  Tupp said as he glanced at  the Pokemon Center. Zipp gulps with shaking hands. He quickly turns to him worried. "W-we need to get help! Call Guzma!,"  he cried out. Rapp however shakes her head nervously as  she slowly steps away from the main problem.

"D-don't get him! Think about  the c-consequences!"  The boys look glanced at each other, feeling her panic and anxiety. Gladion however stared at  the building in horror. He ran towards it but stopped due to the strong  gas. He looked up worried.

"Y-Y/N!"

She started to cough as Popplio covered its eyes with its flippers. She frowned concernedly.

"W-water Gun Popplio! The gas..."  The pokemon weakly sprayed water towards the gas, hoping to make it fade away. It helped a bit, but  the poor pokemon was too weak to keep doing it not for a long period of time. Y/N tightly held onto her and looked around desperately.

What  the hell do I do?!

Terribly sorry for the long waited chapter. I was working on other stories like N x Reader and some personal stuff. I hope to get this done soon, and I will!
