"Ne, ne Natsu! Are you even listening to me?!" Lucy asked the guy who was walking with her. Happy was comfortably placed on Natsu's messy pink hair.
"S-sorry. What were you saying?"
"I was asking you about Wendy-chan and Romeo-kun...How do you know them?"
'I'm not honestly asking him that! It was hard enough trying to ask him the first time, how can I just ask him the same question the second time, when he's clearly not listening to me at all!'
"A lot of stuff happened..."
"Oh, so you're not interested in telling me what happened to you during the past seven years that we were apart? Hmm?!"
"Uhm...well, you haven't shared anything at all" Natsu shot back.
"Well, if you had the decency to listen to me this whole time, I actually shared that my father died a year ago" Lucy bursted out with tears in her eyes.
"L-Lucy...I'm...sorry..." Natsu tried apologizing then Lucy turned her back to him, facing a door.
"W-well here we are. See you tomorrow at school." She said before dashing in the apartment.
'Apologizing now would be meaningless...It would only make her feel worse' Natsu thought as he reluctantly left the place.
