Everyday, when I'm bathing her or just watching her while she sleeps, I think on how can a mother just not take care of their child? I also think on how there are mother's out there who just don't give a fuck about their kids. Or how they rather be more of a woman then a mother. I be seeing in social media how mother's prefer leaving their kids with the grandma, their friends, or the baby father (who has nothing going on for him) and go party or go out to drink and do drugs. -
New * ... I stayed still as my wardrobe lady added the finishing touches to my costume before the makeup artist and the hairstylist came to get me ready. As I was putting on my heels, Maya's baby monitor turned on and soon after her baby cries were hear all over the room. I sighed and walked out and ran up the stairs into her room. I picked her up from her crib and stared rocking her and shushing her, I looked at her and seen her beautiful eyes staring back at me.
As I looked at her I couldn't believe how blessed I am to have her, she's grown into a beautiful baby and can't imagine my life without her. I snapped out of my thoughts when Sephora came into the room dressed as a pirate.
"Bitch, I know you not dressed as a whole pirate," I joked teasingly and giggling at her crazy ass.
"And I know you not dressed as a chicken," she replied laughing.
"Bitch this is not no damn chicken, you need your eyes checked," I responded laughing.
"That's what it looks like," she said as she came and took Maya from me while I gave her my screw face.
"What y'all akekeking in here about?" Jasmine asked standing in the door way.
"Sephora's uneducated self that's what," I told her, laughing and seeing Sephora roll her eyes.
"I can't with y'all, but get Maya dressed up so you can greet your guests, they are arriving," she said laughing before she left.
I took Maya from Sephora and started dressing her, since she's still young I decided to just dress her up as a ballerina but nothing over the top. I put on a plain black shirt and a red and white tutu that I got at The Children's Place not too long ago. I also put on some cute ballerina shoes I got from Toys R Us in black.
