I was upstairs in my room sobbing when I heard shouting downstairs.
"NO, DON'T YOU DARE GO UP THOSE STAIRS!" I heard Angie shout.
"I AM WARNING YOU!" My dad yelled.
I heard footsteps coming up the stairs followed by more. Then he burst into my bedroom, ran up to me and kissed me on the lips. I kissed back. It just felt right. When out lips touched I felt like everything around me, all the sadness, all the anger was gone. I missed that.
When my Dad and Angie ran in I pulled away.
"Leon, please get out of my house. First you break my daughter's heart, then you come in here and kiss her!"
"Please, let me explain."
He looked over to me and I just looked down and let him leave. My dad followed him out of the room.
"Why did you let him leave?"
"I don't know Angie, I don't know why I keep letting him walk away. I want to be with him, but I don't want him to hurt me again. But I believe him when he says he loves me, and a part of me says that he was telling me me the truth when he said that Lara kissed him, but another part of me says that he will just hurt me again. What should I do Angie?"
"What does your heart tell you?"
"My heart tells me that Leon is a good guy, but he hurt me and as much as I want to forgive him, I can't."
"Well why don't you get some rest and think about it tomorrow."
I just lay there, thinking about his face, his voice, when I got an email from Leon.
I picked up my laptop and opened the video.
At the end, I got a text through from Leon.
