We moved closer and closer until we were about a centimetre apart.
Then the door opened and we both looked up to see Leon's dad stood there.
"I um.... I was just... um....."
"We were about to go, right."
"Yeah.... um shall we..."
"Yeah. Bye Mr Vargas."
We walked out to the car and sat in silence.
"So..."
"So..."
"The songs went really well."
"Yeah, but we need to work on the lift."
"Yeah. I was thinking, if when you jumped up, you had your legs bent rather than straight."
"Yeah, that sounds good."
"And we should put something in before the spin, like maybe cross in front of each other and then back and into the lift."
"I like that idea, shall we rehearse again tomorrow?"
"Yeah."
"Leon?"
"Yeah."
"I need to ask you something."
"What?"
"Do you seriously no remember me?"
"Not really, I know that I should, but I just can't."
"Right. because you remember everyone but me."
"I know, and I know I should know you. It's like I know that you are important to me, but I just can't join up the dots and figure out how I know you."
"Well, here's my house." I said as Leon pulled up outside the gates.
"See you tomorrow."
"Bye!" I said as I climbed out.
Well that was awkward.
