It was one of her regular weekend nights. Except now instead of watching movies on Netflix , she's watching the newly launched The Voice Kids.
She sat there with her tub of Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice cream while in her hoodie and sweat pants.
That's basically all she does every weekend.
The show starts as she scrolls through her twitter timeline not really paying attention as usual.
You still owe me skittles.
She DM'ed to her best friend.
SHIT SORRY. I SWEAR I BOUGHT TODAY BUT UH I ATE THEM.
Kylie - her best friend - replied.
What a great "friend" you are 😒.
She replied rolling her eyes.
That's basically what Hazel's been doing mostly through the show.
That's until the tune to One Direction's What Makes You Beautiful plays through the tv. Hazel looks up in an instant with her spoon hanging from her mouth.
She starts squealing but when a boy looking about her age comes in sight of the television she lost it. She gasped as the young boy belts out the lyrics perfec- wait no perfect is an understatement. He owned the stage , his performance left Hazel in total amazement. Hazel sat there , her mouth hung open , spoon falling to the floor but she didn't care at the moment. All she cares about was the beautiful boy on her television that has a voice of an angel.
His performance ended as everyone cheered , his smile bright that Hazel nearly loses her breath.
"Damn he's fit." Hazel muttered , not blinking as she stared at the tv.
Darren was his name - as that's what she heard.
As he made it through the battle rounds beating off the other three , Hazel vowed to watch every single episode of this season of The Voice Kids Philippines just to keep up on Darren.
