"And how's that?"

"I just know."

Hazel's POV

My heart was beating as if I was running a marathon. I wanted to just back out but at the same time I wanted to just shove myself to Darren and kiss the hell outta him. But obviously, that's way out of the line.

I was about to run off until Stella tugs me up the stage and to the table where Darren and Lyca were.

"Darren!" Stella squeaks out. If this was a normal situation, I would have rolled my eyes but the way my anxiety's kicking in, I can't seem to have the power on doing it.

As soon as his name left Stella's mouth, he glances over at her and smiles. He then turns to me and the twinkle from earlier once again showed. He grinned at me and won't stop staring that it kind of made me uncomfortable.

"H-Hey Darren." I stuttered out.

It was as if he was slapped across the face because he then snapped out of what seemed to be a trance.

"Hey." He breathed out.

I was about to say something before Stella butts in.

"I'm Hazel Grace Anthony, call me Hazel. Here's my phone number, call me sometime." Stella says handing Darren a piece of paper and winking down at him.

Stella looks back at me and smirks and walks down the stage while I stood there dumbfounded.

Darren crumpled the paper then glanced up at me in confusion.

"Bye Darren." I say and speed walk off the stage as the tears starts to form in my eyes.

I hear him yell out a "WAIT!" but I didn't turn back even if me myself wanted to go back to him.

I didn't know where I was going until I bumped into someone.

"Shit I-I'm so sor- Oh h-hi Ate Raquel." I say forcing a smile.

Ate Raquel didn't fall for it for she sensed that it was fake and forced. She then brings me backstage and through a door that says "Darren & Lyca".

She sits me on a leather sofa in the room which was obviously a dressing room.

"Anong nangyari? Bakit ka umiiyak? May ginawa ba si Darren sayo? Ang Security?" Asked Ate Raquel rubbing my back in attempt to calm me down.

I shook my head and silently thank her as she passed me a box of tissues.

I then tell her about what Stella did and I was really thankful that she's listening to me.

"Everybody wanna steal my girl

Everbody wanna take her heart away

A couple billion in the whole wide world

Find another one cause she belongs to me."

My ringtone goes on and I answer the call which was sadly from Stella herself.

"Hazel, where the fuck are you?! I'm a complete loner over here! And the signing's about to end!" She yells through the phone.

I roll my eyes before answering.
