"It's what makes me feel free."

Hazel's POV

Waking up the next day got me all tingly.

I lazily sit up on the hotel bed yawning and slouching looking around.

I get the tingly feeling got to me again but this time, it's on my cheek.

Oh my gosh.

I start squealing and wriggling around.

I touch my cheek and gasp.

That actually happened.

But then I realized I was gonna film a video with Darren today, too. I have a feeling it'll be awkward but hopefully it isn't.

I do the quickest shower I've ever had in my entire life and dry up my hair as fast as I could.

I hide off some tiny spots from my face with my concealer and add a bit of blush on. I swear this is the only type of make up I ever wear.

I put on a "I can't stop watching YouTubers" shirt from Tyler Oakley's merch store and a pair of plain black leggings.I then slip on my favorite pair of Justice League : Marvels Vans.

I brush my hair for about the 20th time this morning and brush my teeth accidentally dropping a tiny bit of toothpaste on a few strands of my hair making me need to rinse it off.

I sit on my bed frantically rubbing the wet strands of hair against my towel. In the middle of my frantic rubbing, I hear a knock on my door.

"Get in!" I say brushing through the now dry strands of hair but are now horrifically tangled.

I wince exactly when the door opens with Darren standing there as I forcefully run my hair brush through the tangles.

I see him hold in a laugh making me blush as I untangle the strands by hand.

I finish in a bit and find Darren looking around the room.

"So, let's film the video? I'm leaving for Manila in a few hours so we should start filming." Darren says rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well Ren, good morning to you too." I say sarcastically rolling my eyes playfully.

He blushes a bit, "Oh s-sorry, good morning H-Hazel. I just was r-rushed and all and I r-really wanted to film with y-you but I-we only have a l-limited time and all so I j-just wanted to let you know and just wan-" Darren was cut off with me laughing.

He blushed harder as I stood up and went up to him.

I place a hand on his shoulder still giggling and say, "I was kidding, Ren." I smile at him as he mumbled an "Oh."
"Have you eaten?" Darren asked as he recovered.

"Nope."

"Wanna get some breakfast downstairs?"
"Sure."

I blushed since he basically asked me out but it wasn't really that clear that he asked me out.

Let me have my moment dammit.

A girl can dream!

Darren snaps his fingers in front of my face startling me. I blush and stand up getting my phone out of the charger along with my small bag.

"Let's go!" Darren says excitedly. I grin and follow him out of the room of the suite.

"Wait." I say to him.

I go over to the door to Stella's room and peek inside seeing her fast asleep. I roll my eyes and jog back over to Darren at the door to the outside of the suite.

"She's still asleep, I'll leave her there." I say shrugging as we walk to the elevator.

"You sure she won't throw a tantrum?" Darren worries.

I chuckle and shake my head. "I'll just leave her a text or something." I say as we get in the elevator and press the button to the ground floor.

We stand in the elevator -duh- talking about what video we should make.
We struggled on picking between the chubby bunny challenge, Q&A and a tag game.

"We should do two videos considering you're making me a channel." My eyes widen as the words left Darren's lips. My lips broke into a wide grin.

"You're into having a YouTube channel?" I say a lot more excited than I should be.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean it is a great way for my fa-supporters to keep up with me and to communicate with them in some way." Darren says.

I nod understanding his reason. "And it seems fun to make too. But I too get camera shy." He says sheepishly.

The elevator doors open and we walk out and turn to the left going in the restaurant.

"Yeah, I did too. Actually I still am, but it's just a bit of getting used to. It's all in how much you enjoy doing all this. It's just like how you look so damn comfortable performing on stage. Like the stage is your home, performing is your escape." I say as we take a seat near the window.

"While mine is sitting on my bed talking to a camera. I no longer care that someone's watching me, all I care is that I'm doing something I love. Making YouTube videos is my escape from everything else." I say taking in a breath.

"It's what makes me feel free." I say.
I finish just to see Darren listening intently.

"I'm sorry you had to listen to all that, I just got in the moment and all." I say.
"It's okay, whatever you said was true anyway. I will listen, even if you would talking about something silly and pointless. I will be here to listen." Darren says grabbing my hand and rubbing his thumb across it.

The sparks.

I ignore the thought and smile up at him.

"No you won't, you're leaving in a few hours." I say.

We put our hands away from each other in sync -it was quite creepy actually- and order our breakfast.
"So we should do the chubby bunny challenge on my channel and a Q&A on yours."

Darren nods as his mouth was stuffed with pancakes. I didn't help myself but take a picture of him making him blush and chew faster.

"You're gonna choke, Ren." I say picking up a piece of bacon and munching on it.

That's when my hunger kicks in and I too start eating. We eat with the sound of nothing but plates clicking and the soft chatter of the people around us.
We finish our food, both plates clean as if they weren't used at all.

I see Stella entering the cafe next to the cashier of the restaurant and buying her usual caffeine.

"Stella's here." Darren points out.

"Yeah, I see." I nod.

"Let's go up, we need to film the video." I say.

Darren's face lights up making me smile. We stand up and run to the elevator and elevate-hehe I know that was lame sorry- up to Darren's suite.
This is gonna be fun.
