"Min Yoongi!" Yoongi snapped his head up as the teacher's screaming and the feeling of dozens of pairs of eyes trained on him brought him back to reality.
"What?! I mean.... yes miss?"
"Pay attention! This is important!"
"Sorry."

Once the teacher had gone back to lecturing and the rest of the class had stopped staring at him, Yoongi resumed his original position; head resting on his folded arms atop of the desk. This makes him appear like he is asleep when really he's gazing at his crush. He did this in every lesson that they have together - maths, geography, physics and social studies. It wasn't the most comfortable position, but he didn't want to get caught staring. And there was no way that he could just not stare at him, even if he wanted to focus in something else. This boy was like a magnet to Yoongi, and Yoongi didn't mind.

Yoongi's crush was, to him at least, the single most perfect person there ever has been and ever will be. He's a little shorter than Yoongi, and currently his hair, which is floppy yet still frames his face, is a pastel pink. His eyes are deep pools of molten chocolate that Yoongi could and does get lost in. His lips are so soft and so plump, and make Yoongi want to scoop him up into a hug when he pouts or parts them. His cheeks are chubby but the rest of his body is lean and toned with the exception of his tiny hands. He speaks so animatedly, hands gesturing everywhere and voice rising and falling in tone as he explains his point, and Yoongi could listen to that angelic voice all day long. He always picks out perfect outfits that match his cute persona but also manage to make him look undeniably hot, which shouldn't be possible, but somehow he manages it and pulls it off, much to Yoongi's admiration.

Yoongi was absolutely obsessed beyond belief with this boy, namely Park Jimin.

Jimin parted his lips endearingly as he leant forwards, the two back legs of his chair hovering above the ground and his feet planted firmly on the floor to keep himself still and prevent toppling over. The lips that Yoongi spent so much time secretly staring at and admiring curved up into a reluctant smile as his friend began prodding at his shoulder in an attempt to distract him. Jimin hit the other boy playfully with a small giggle before turning his focus back to the lesson to continue absorbing the knowledge being written on the board, resting his head in his palm. His friend sighed and looked around the classroom to try and find something else to entertain himself with, which made Yoongi feel lucky that he had staring at Jimin to pass his time with.

The friend that Jimin had had the interaction with was Jeon Jungkook, and was actually a good friend of Yoongi's. Jimin and Yoongi really should've been friends, considering that they shared an almost identical circle of friends and often crossed paths. It wasn't that Yoongi didn't want this - being friends with Jimin would open the door to a whole lot of new knowledge about him, which in turn could help him in trying to achieve a relationship with him. Yoongi just physically couldn't talk to Jimin. He blushed violently all over his body, stuttered and became tongue-tied at every word, and could hardly control his movements. As a result, the two had rarely ever spoken.

Yoongi sighed forlornly as he sat up, keeping his eyes glued to Jimin throughout his position change. He had gathered from the agitated movement in the class that it must be nearly the end of the lesson. Lessons with Jimin always passed far too quickly for Yoongi's liking, but he could recall every single moment of them, or rather, every moment regarding Jimin.

Jung Hoseok, his best friend and the school's resident sunshine, elbowed Yoongi sharply. He chuckled when the shorter grunted and waved him off, reluctant as ever to have his attention removed from Jimin.

"Stop staring at poor Jimin and just ask him out already," Hoseok had never been one for subtlety, which was one of the things Yoongi loved about him, along with his kindness and ability to lighten any mood. But it did annoy him occasionally, especially when it involved Jimin, which it usually did. After all, there wasn't actually that much else to tease Yoongi about, and mentioning his crush got such a great reaction that Hoseok always chose the subject to tease him over anyway.
