Yoongi woke up to sunlight streaming through the crack in the curtains and falling on his face. He snuggled further into the warmth and safety of his duvet and enjoyed the slow Saturday morning.

At least, he enjoyed it as best as he could. After a few minutes, he suddenly remembered what Namjoon had said.

"Or maybe they'll confess at the weekend!"

He sat upright, pushing his hair off his face as he considered this. It would be easier if the person confessed quickly and he could tell them to stop. But he was kind of enjoying the suspense and he really did not want to deal with anyone in his rare free time. Feeling a bit paranoid, he crossed the room and peeked out of his window. There was nothing there, of course. He shook his head and went to grab his phone.

A while later, Yoongi had grabbed himself a bowl of cereal, coco pops to be specific, and was sat in front of the TV. He was watching a random crime show that was on, morbid fascination taking over.

Yoongi squealed and jumped out of his skin as he heard a knock on the front door. He quickly hid himself under a blanket, only coming out once his mother had opened the door and collected the post from the postman.
"What are you doing under there?"
"Uh... I don't have any makeup on?" Mrs. Min laughed and shook her head at her son before turning back to her computer. Yoongi rested his head in his hands. Why was he so paranoid?

He dumped his bowl in the sink and went back upstairs to grab a shower. The feeling of the warm water pouring over his pale skin soothed him a little and reminded him that the person most likely had no clue where he lived.

He stepped out and gazed at himself in the mirror, slightly pink from the heat. With a sigh, Yoongi dashed back to his room and dressed in one of his favourite outfits: black skinny jeans and a blue hoodie, before applying some light makeup.

If I was prettier Jimin might notice me.

He brushed away the intrusive thoughts and focused on his eyeliner. Once he was ready and had dried his hair, he grabbed his phone and said goodbye to his mother. He needed to get out of the house and burn some of this nervous energy.

The place Yoongi decided to go was a little coffee shop a few blocks away from his home. He ordered his usual,  black coffee with sugar, and sat in a booth by the window to people-watch.

This turned out to be a bad idea. Yoongi flinched everytime a girl walked past, and nearly had a heart attack when he saw one holding a flower. It seemed that nothing would ease his paranoia. Yoongi rested his head on the table and squeezed his eyes shut so he couldn't see through the window. He opened them again as his phone buzzed on the table.

One new message.

Hoesucc: wanna meet up??
Sugadaddy: no fuck you
Hoesucc: pleaseeee I'm so bored :(
Sugadaddy: ugh fine. Meet me at the park
Hoesucc: yayyyy I love you

Yoongi smirked at this last message and downed the last of his drink. The park was just across the street from the cafe, and he sat on a bench to wait for Hoseok. He turned around as he heard loud chatter.

"No way!"
"Yes! I'm telling you I'm right! Joonie back me up here," Namjoon himself laughed loudly.
"Nah. You're on your own here Kook."
"Oh my god! All of you are idiots!"
The boys neared Yoongi, who observed how deep in conversation they were. Namjoon and Hoseok were mainly spectating and laughing while Jungkook and Taehyung argued back and forth about something.
"Whatever, you guys, Yoongles is here!" Yoongi rolled his eyes as he stood up to greet the group.

They spent the afternoon debating the most stupid things in between taking turns on the swings like the big kids they were. They got ice cream later on. Yoongi licked at his mint choc chip cone, still subconsciously scanning the area for his admirer.

He didn't get home until dinner time, and then spent all evening watching YouTube until he fell into a deep sleep.

Yoongi spent his Sunday like he spent all the others; playing video games with Jungkook and Jin accompanied by a huge tub of popcorn. He loved his little rituals, and it helped distract him from the naggling paranoia of the gifts in his locker.

He dreamt about Jimin yet again that night. In his dream, he and Jimin got ice cream together. Jimin had a strawberry cone and Yoongi stole a few licks here and there.

The ice cream didn't compare in the slightest with the sweetness of Jimin.
