Love at First Fight

The Meeting Part 1

Willow's POV
   It was spring break, meaning I can binge watch things. Mother is also on a business trip, so house to myself. At the moment, I'm sitting in the living room watching Merlin. Merlin kinda reminded me of myself. A few episodes into it and the power went out. "Welp this sucks."I went to get candles when a flash happened and I blacked out.
About an hour or so later I woke. "Miss are you okay?" Sitting up I nodded a little dazed. "If you don't mind me asking. Where am I?" He smiled helping me up. "We are just outside of Camelot." As I tried to stand I gasped in pain. "Are you okay? Let's get you to Gaius." He picked me up and walked me to Gaius. "Oh! I almost forgot! I'm Willow." He sat me down on one of the beds. "Gaius this little lady needs a look at her leg." He left after that. Looking around I spotted a dark haired boy. "Hello, I'm Willow." He smiled. "Well Willow I'm Merlin." "Merlin bandage her leg please." He did as he was told and bandaged my leg. Gwen had walked in holding a dress. "I brought a clean dress for the lady." I smiled in gratitude. "Thank you." The dress was a whitish colour. The skirt to it was green and it had a torso corset with it.
"Is there a place I can change?" Merlin walked over to a door and opened it. "You can change in here." I closed the door behind me when I walked in and changed. I stepped out of the room after quickly changing. Gaius started to speak. "Willow can you and Merlin go and get these please?" He handed me a list and went back to work. "Let's go Merlin." We left the room smiling and went to shop.
While looking for a few of the items I bumped into someone. "Watch where you are going!" I scuffed shaking my head. "I'll watch where I'm going when you watch that attitude of yours." He growled in annoyance. "What is your name girl?" I nodded."This girl's name is Willow." As I said that I glared at him. "I can have you hanged for treating me poorly, Willow." I smiled at that. "I will sword fight you. Loser has to do as winner says." They started laughing. "You sword fight? Thats cute." "Well sire do I look like I'm joking?" They stopped and looked at me. "Fine we will fight." He tossed me one of his buddies swords. I handed my basket to Merlin and told him he could finish it. He nodded giving a worried look and telling me to be careful. I stood in my fight stance. "May I know your name sire?" We started to fight. "My name is Arthur. I am the King's son." I twirled the sword, smirking. "I get to fight the prince? This is lovely." I took a fake shot for his leg, but swiped up and nicked his shirt. "Give in sire?" He got mad and took a swing at me. "Guess not." This went on for awhile ,up until I disarmed him and got the sword. "I win." I bowed and handed the swords back. He nodded his head. "A deal is a deal. What do I do?" I laughed a little. "Nothing, sire." "Why? I lost?" "Yes but I'm letting you pick a punishment for I disrespected you." Arthur looked shocked that I said that. "Fine. You shall clean every inch of my room tomorrow evening." I bowed and spoke. "As you wish, sir Arthur."

Later that day

Merlin walked up to me and handed me the basket. "If it's okay with you I'm going to look around." I told him it was okay and walked to Gaius'. "Gaius is it okay if I have a few shillings to go shopping?" He handed me a few and told me to be careful. I thanked him and walked out to the shops again. I walked around looking for things when I spotted Merlin and Arthur bickering. Arthur bumped Merlin and they started arguing. I got to Merlin just as he was about to swing on Arthur. I started talking as I caught his hand. "You need to stay out of trouble, Merlin." He nodded looking a little mad but walked away as I did. Merlin turned back around and swung at him. I kept walking giving up. I walked up to a stall and looked at the jewelry. "Sir, how much is this necklace?" It was a dull ruby, not one bit of shine to the jewel. "5 shilling because no one really wants a dull necklace." I handed him the shillings and put it on. After I clamped it on it started to shine, like it was freshly polished. I started walking back to Gaius' house. "Gaius my necklace is being weird." He told me to explain. I told him what happened and he said he'd look into it. After he told me that I went and sat in a chair to read. Later Merlin had walked in and talked with Gaius. With the reading and them talking I fell asleep.
The next day
I woke up in the chair and stretched. "Gaius where is Merlin?" He smiled and told me he was in town. I left into town with a smile. "Hello Merlin! Having a good time?" He smiled. "Yes. Oh, this is Gwen!" I nodded to her. "Hello Gwen! I'm Willow." When the kids arrived we left. "Well would you like to come with me to Lady Morgana?" I told her that would be nice.
"Hello Gwen! Who is this?" I bowed. "Hello Lady Morgana, I'm Willow." She smiled. "You are the one cleaning his room?" I told her yes. "May you show me his room? So I can get started?" She smiled and showed me his room. I thanked her for showing me.
I knocked on his door and didn't get an answer so I opened the door and looked in. "Ew! This is really dirty. I gotta start now." I started with sweeping the floor and dusting. I then went into town to get a bucket of water. When I got back I started wiping down his desk, bed posts and other things that could be wiped down. After I started scrubbing the floors. I was making sure they shined. Gwen walked in asking if I needed any help. I wiped my hand dry and picked up a basket. "Yes can you help me with his clothes. I need to wash them." She grabbed the basket from me and walked away. I went back to cleaning after she left. Dinner had came around and I fell asleep in Arthurs desk chair.
Arthur's Pov
I returned to my room after dinner to see the girl asleep in my chair. "How can such a beautiful lady be a peasant?" I picked her up and laid her in my bed. I changed and climbed into bad after.
Willow's pov
I woke up in a bed and shot up in fright. I looked around the area to see a slightly unfinished room. "I have to finish his clothes." By the time I finished his clothes one of the guards walked in to tell me Lady Morgana needed to see me and that King Uther needed to see me as well. I went to Morgana and she forced me into a nice dress. "Come follow me. We are having breakfast with King Uther." I nodded and followed her there.
We walked into the dinning area and bowed. "King Uther this is Willow." I smiled. "Nice to meet you, sire." He waved his hand signalling us to sit down. "You are the lady that fought my son and won? Yet you still let him punish you." "Yes sir." I was a little scared. I could see Arthur smirking in the corner of my eye. "What was the punishment?" I took a sharp breath in. "He made me clean his entire room, sire." He raised a brow. "Yes I did, sir." He nodded and started to speak again. "You shall be Arthur's maid. Do what he says without complaining." I nodded understanding. "Yes sir. May I please be excused." He excused me and I went back to Morgana's to change back into my original dress. "You can keep the dress. Arthur seems to like you in it." I shook my head no, handed her the dress and left.
