Love at First Fight

  I brought Jade with us as we went to Camelot. "So what's your favorite colour Jade?" I had one arm around her during our journey. "I love the colour yellow! It's so bright and cheery." I smiled. "I like red because it reminds me of love and Rose's. I love roses!" She giggled. Through the whole ride home Jade and I talked. Every now and then Arthur would join in. Jade was asleep when we arrived so I took her to my chambers to sleep and then went to talk to Uther. 
   "Sire." I bowed and he smiled. "Yes Willow?" "I was wondering if I could adopt or even keep a little girl as my ward! She is very smart and sweet. You would love her!" He thought for a second before answering. "I want to meet this little girl before I decide." I got excited and ran back to my room and gently woke the little girl. "Jade, love we need to get you washed and dressed!" She sat up rubbing her eyes. "Why?" I smiled lovingly at her. "The kind wishes to meet you." She nodded and reached for me to pick her up.
*small skip*
   I gave Jade a bath and picked out her clothes. Oh I forgot to tell you that Gwen and Morgana brought clothes for her. Anyway, I quickly dressed her and picked her up taking her all the way to the throne room. "Now Jade be good and nice. I don't have to say that but I will just in case." She nodded and we both walked in. "Uther this is Jade." Jade curtsied and smiled. "She's very cute and has good manners. I think she will be a great addition to our family in this kingdom." That was fast. Is this the same Uther like what? Jade said thank you and looked at me. I broke out into a big grin. "Let's go dear!" I heard a small chuckle as we left but I didn't care. Most of that day I spent getting her new clothes, jewelry, shoes and toys. Even though I didn't want them to the guards took all of her stuff to my room. I seen Arthur once or twice that whole time up until I took her to the training grounds. "This Jade is were both of us will be quite frequently." She asked me why so we sat down smiling at each other and I told her. For a six year old she is very talkative. 
Arthur's POV 
   I watched Willow and Jade walk into the grounds and sit down and start talking again. I was trapped in a daze like state with a big smile looking at them. God, I can't wait to make her my queen or an actual mother. Wait, did I really just think that? I mean she seems to be an excellent mother so yeah I want her to have my children definitely. "Arthur?" I zoned back in and looked at everyone. "You can have the rest of practice to do as you please." I left and walked over to the two girls. "Hello ladies." They both smiled at us and patted the empty spot to make a triangle. I gladly accepted the seat and sat. "What are you ladies doing today?" Jade started going on about how her mom, aka Willow, took her to do all these things after my father accepted their request. Speaking of Willow she seems very happy that she's done this. "Is that so?" "Yeah! Mommy is the best!" Willow laughed. "Is she really?" "Yes!" She passed for a second and her face lit up even more if this child could hold that much light. "You can be daddy! You are my dad now! Well only if you want to be daddy!" I stood up and picked her up. "I accept that. I will be your father." I like that. Being called dad and how Willow is called mom. I shouldn't be thinking like this! Jade started rambling on and on about her old life as we walked through the town. Willow would stop and buy more things for either herself or Jade. She mainly did that for Jade though. Jade stopped talking and screamed in excitement. "Uncle Merlin!!!!" She dropped out of my arms and ran to him. Uncle Merlin? What? I looked at Willow for an explanation. "Sorry he's family whether you like it or not." I just rolled my eyes. "I love you but Merlin her uncle?" She nodded, kissed my cheek and grabbed Jade. "It's nearly dinner time love. We better get you washed up." Yeah can't wait to marry her. Maybe I can ask father if I can do that soon. I went to do just that. 
Willow's POV 
  I grabbed Jade and made my way to our room. I grabbed a wet rag and wiped her down to make sure she wasn't very dirty.  "Do you want to wear the yellow dress for dinner?" She said a quick yes and changed. Earlier while we were with Arthur I realized how fatherly he really is with her. He will be a great father to his own kin one day. Especially if he's like this with Jade. I quickly fixed the dress for her and we headed to dinner. When we walked in Uther and Arthur got quiet and Morgana had an all knowing smirk on her face. I shrugged and pulled Jade's chair out for her and got her plate situated. "Hello Grandpa!" I whipped my head to Uther with a slightly scared face. All he did was smile and great her back. Well then. I quickly took my seat. "Evening sire." "Evening. How was today?" I told him it was great and seen that Morgana and Jade were talking. I'm glad everyone gets along and that Uther has a heart. I listened in and talked with them as well. I knew the other two were whispering about whatever but who cares. Time flew by quickly as Jade started yawning a lot. I briefly dismissed the both of us off to bed and we changed. That night I slept cuddled up to a sleeping, yellow clad girl that I adopted. It was a very peaceful night, with more to come in the future and more family as well in that future. I took one last look at Jade, kissed her forehead and drifted off. I love this little girl already.
